There are many universities in Sri Lanka offering IT degrees such as SLIIT, NIBM, IIT, ICBT, ACBT and APIIT etc. I do not know whether all are approved by UGC. You can check it by contacting UGC office.

In addition you can do BIT. This is offered by UCSC. But lectures are conducted in private institutions such as ESOFT, IDM, and Matrix etc.

BCS is also a professional qualification which is approved by UGC, but it is not a degree. It is a degree equivalent professional qualification. Lectures are conducted in Esoft, IDM and Matrix etc.
