Fuck amazon. Had to pay for GTA IV complete twice cz of them..i bought GTA IV COMPLETE frm amazon and aftr only gt to knw itz only pc download. The keys they gave cant redeem n steam nor GFWL.. Call their helpdesk and they said therez nothing the could do.. So had to buy it again from steam..

I bought GTA 4 and another bunch of games from Amazon.it and Amazon.co.uk never had such problems. and whenever I even had a problem similar to that. They always refund or return it without hesitation.
Well..u have to read the agreement b4 buying machan..If it says
Digital Download - it means you can download and redeem the keys for digital editions
Retails - requires physical / ISOs
Others are specially stated if they caan be redeemed on STEAM. and for GFWL, it's not a digital distributor, even if you activate your game you still need ISO or DD version of the game.
the reason they can't do anything for your issue may be the same reason as you have not read the agreement before purchase. They must have mentioned that.
Make sure to read agreements before buying uplay/social club and gfwl games. Those are sure hit eff ups

so i call them and told what happend. but they explained that they cant refund for pc downloads.then i said ok and kept the phone. then i went on and bought it again from steam. and later i saw Amazaon has sent me a mail telling how sorry they are about what happend to me. i said it's alright i bought it agian from steam. thn they said as it's not fair for me to pay twice for it , they wil make an exception for me and refund the cash.
and they did
it was my fault for not checking before buying and still they refund the money as it was the right thing to do

see... just imagine buying such a game from a shop in pettah or somewhere ... hell no they'd refund... at least u gotta refund... in your case... i'd prefer buying games from steam too.... btw how much was the games? i mean GTA 4?
it was GTA IV Complete which includes GTA 4 + Episodes from Liberty City (The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony).
it was 75% off that day. about 7.65USD
the thing was for some reason steam wont let me buy via my paypal or my card. that's why i went and bought it from amazon. 2nd time i bought it from a steam friend. i gave him money from paypal and he bought the game for me.
