post counts wasn't even a system, people post it adds to their count that's how it works. only a couple retards tried to achieve high post counts, and people still do that I might have given you a couple of example if you could get the top posters list working

correct me If I'm wrong, But now people post a batshit crazy amount of threads everyday begging for reps, they post a single picture they lifted from I don't know where and ask for rep,

don't this add up to the server load?

where you get this stats
it's very less number of posts, threads per day than old days.
And when people post a single pic and ask for rep there will be loads of bad rep for him. And when people post model's pics there are loads of people to give bad rep same as the + rep.
So admit the truth other than talking over false statements.

I got it from carefully observing the EK home page since you suggested it after denying to publish the stats you draw your conclusions by (some evidence eh?)

You admit that you don't understand the reputation system, i think you don't understand how a social site or community works and your definition for value of the content not applicable to others. I understand you are not interested on learning about them, just want to get highlighted on your free time.

Old days there were huge amount of chat threads and normal people who are new to the interned loved that system. It was giving elakiri high ranks on the charts and hit rates were higher so basically it will earn more money if you are interested on the financial factor.

But in the same time it will slow down the server and other content get no attention at all. We need all types of interest group in elakiri with lot of subjects not just a gathering point as you like it to be.

um... no.. i actually quite damn well understand the entire working of a social site.

But, you can't aptly call this an online community without having proper standardization of controlling methodologies OR rules and regulation which would govern such a social gathering. Rightly so that you can't walk into any club with fire-arms., you need to have regulations for a community gathering. So in that point... mate., you are way damn out of your league of understanding and defining your own forum.

and no, i am not a "like" puppy to get nods and likes in my spare time. I have a bit moral high grounds than the little puppets who worship the ground you walk on. Call that delusional inferiority complex which you seems to be quite familiar with.

Chat threads didn't slow down the system.. but i do agree that the signatures's did... but does that justify you displaying 5 shockwave banners on each and every turn of the forum? .... right.. making money

you did run it by your and your collaborators money.... and yeah, we do remember all the bickering, the hurt mails flying all over the webs and forums against each other.. etc etc..

but then again., you decided to make money by opening (or rather of the same effect on floating a company on stock market) the forum. ... and BRAVO mate, i will hold you in all due respect that you picked the best system and the method do it.

We don't want facebook, G+ to wipe out the last standing local community.
