වාහනේ ස්ටාර්ට් කරලා පැය භාගයක් විතර තියල ලොකු රෙදි කෑල්ලක් අරන් රේඩියේටර් මුඩිය සහ කට සම්පුර්ණයෙන්ම වැහෙන්න දාල මුඩිය පරෙස්සමට ඇරල බලන්න බොයිල් කරනවද කියල. මුඩිය අරිනකොට ඇතුලෙන් ප්‍රෙෂර් එකක් එන්න විදිහක් නැහැ සිස්ටම් එක හරියට වැඩ කරනවානම් . රේඩියේටර් එකේ කට ගාවටම කුලන්ට් පුරවල වාහනේ රත් වෙනකම් තියල බලන්න ඇතුලෙන් බුබුළු එනවද කියල. මේ කියන ප්‍රශ්න දෙකෙන් එකක් හෝ දෙකම තියෙනවනම් කොතන හෝ දෝෂයක් තියෙනවා. ෆෑන් හරියට on /off වෙනවද කියලත් බලන්න..

Car ake 3rd gear ake idala 2nd gear akata maru weddi gassila shift wenne. habai poddak break karala vehicle slow karala dunnama ahema gassimak na.

2nd aken 3rd akata kisima awulak nathuwa shift wenawa. awula thiyenne pahalata anakota. Aka garage akakin kiwwa aluth gear box akak thiyanna kiyala. repair karala wedak na kiya. eth mata therenna methana mokak da wenne kiyala.

mata poddak meka pahadili karala denna puluwanna ?

Should you shift to "N" position in the traffic or just "D" and peddle down on the brake?

I'm new to the AUTOMATIC transmission mode..

I'm new to the AUTOMATIC transmission mode..

Shifting in to N is useless.. no reason to do.. very little advantage in Fuel Usage..thats all.. all new vehicles are Electronically controlled.. So it controls the fuel delivery even its in the D position.. but considering the wear each time when you shift it in/out of Drive, its better to leaving it in Drive...

Unless you're waiting in a railway crossing, it's no point.

Also it says, every 3 minutes of vehicle idling will loss 1KM of Mileage

I'm new to the AUTOMATIC transmission mode..

No point of shifting machan. Vehicle should control the fuel flow when the break is fully pressed. But then again if the wait is long you may want to consider shifting to N and adding the parking break to get some rest for your foot. Else I don't see any advantage even in fuel consumption.
