I did the exam twice machan,

1st attempt L-7.0, R-6.5, W-6.0, S-7.0
2nd attempt L-6.5, R-6.5, W-6.0, S-7.5


I suck at writing & reading went to two tutors and did 25+ papers spent nearly 1 lack but still no luck i am willing to do anything to fix this right now

did you do a prep course at acbt?

another option would be doing toefl instead of ielts if the ielts examiners suck big time.. don't know how the difficulty will turn out to be.. but afaik toefl results are also valid for aussie PR and academic stuff. Similar to ielts 7 and 8 bands, high toefl marks also gives you 10 or 15 points when applying for aussie PR.
Got this idea after seeing this points thing in some site and i'm keeping this as a fallback option if i too fail at ielts.

මම icbt wellawaththa branch එකේ class ගියෙ මචන්ලා. but british council එකෙන් apply කරේ exam එකට. xam එක තිබුනෙනම් මේ බොරැල්ල පැත්තේ තැනක. මම academic xam එක කරේ. And I scored a band mark of 7.5 out of 9.

If you are doing the academic xam, the most important of all is the Essay writting I guess. Analysing graphs and been able to interprete them + writing in the proper logical flow of an essay is a must. Listening is not that hard if you are good with understanding stuff quickly and can understand british and some other accents easily.

And the key to having good results is only by practicing the best you can. You should atleast have done 50+ past papers before you sit to the exam! By that way, ya all will be able to score more than 7 easily...

macho what's the reason for choosing BC instead of icbt for the exam? did icbt guys ask you to register there or any other reason?
don't icbt offer the exam??

also how's the speaking test at BC? is it conducted by foreigners and how about the accent?
