FYI im was born a sinhala buddhist.But im more of an agnostic now and i dont really get this concept of segregating people by race.In an objective standpoint its as ignorant as it gets.So without just talking like an idiot why cant you atleast try to justify him if u actually believe and consider him as a role model.

He is clearly a racist. That's why i said earlier World history is filled with racist people. People who care about their race had to be racist at some point, specially when other races pose a threat to its existence.

Im happy that you accept the fact that hes a racist to start with.But i presume that your trying to justify him and his work stating that ''People who care about their race had to be racist at some point, specially when other races pose a threat to its existence.'' Well i think i need not mention about Hitler here.Try to recollect what Hitler did and read what u said above.My point is that being a racist cannot be justified by any means and the whole concept of segregating humans by race is as ignorant as it gets.

They have to be racist towards Germans to defend themselves. Do you expect them to be nice and reasonable with Germans when its war ? I hope not. there you have to give up your moral values when others do not respect them.

Dharmapala is not an attacker towards other races even though he is a racist. Can you show me a place he suggest sinhalese to burn muslim or tamil buisnesses, or to do any violent action against them. He is taking more peaceful path to give poor sinhalese some understanding about the situation they face. why they are in a sorry state and what will be the future if these habits continues. That is still racist, but better than Hitlers method. So you have to give some respect to dharmapala compared to hitler.
