    Service is a must. You should well maintain and use your car for it to last. dont use cars like its made from adamantium

    Susuki Swift Brand New 2006, meka witarai not owned by me. this is my aunts an she bought it for her permit.

    but she went abroad and after that me and my father used it


    extremely good vehicle we used it for 5 years and my aunt took it in 2011

    poor milage,engine noisy

    i purchased rxt on 29 May 16. ihe engine is noisy, pick up delay. low average , engine vibrates if AC is on. co. should look in to the matter to solve it.:(:(:(

But since then I have send 5 times my car in showroom but I don’t know what is problem with this car vibrate exceptionally .Very poor mileage no torque even shaking in crowded place. I felt like cheated with Renault India. So I am going to complaint in consumer forum for this. I advised more than 20 people not to buy Renault products.     Renault KWID Poor Performance

    Hello Friends, I started facing some serious problem with my KWID since very beginning and really frustrated any annoyed with it, presume most of you are also facing the similar problem. This really makes me think about the vehicle durability & reliability on a long run. Below is my problem description. I have written a mail to Renault and expecting a response from their authorities on what assurance & confidence that they are going to give us on this vehicles durability and reliability? If the response is not convincing I would request all the KWID owners to highlight this so that we can form a group and file a consumer case with the Manufacturer for selling an unreliable & problematic vehicle and causing inconvenience to the customers.     1. Since few months especially in heavy traffic with AC ON in the first & second gears the engine doesn’t respond & the vehicle doesn’t move even we press the accelerator, this is really frustrating and irritates me as the vehicle doesn’t move, this is not only causing inconvenience to me but to other people who are behind my vehicle also gets struck in the traffic along with me, this is really an embarrassing situation which I can’t even explain you.

    2. And sometimes with AC on in the traffic, the engine vibrates very badly. I have to shut the AC off and then take its pick-up.

    3. Not getting proper mileage in the city condition, unfortunately its under 13-14 KMPL.

    4. No pickup once the speed is lowered near speed breakers. Need to press / depress few times to again make the car moving.

    5. The Engine is Making lot of noise.

    6. Space below headlights renders water and dust accumulation.

    I am not getting any satisfaction with this vehicle and never felt i am owning a brand new car. I regret myself in choosing the Renault's KWID & never expected this from such a reputed brand.

    Though i am getting a satisfactory service from my service center, however I lost all the all the confidence from Renault Brand and doubt on the durability & reliability of this product as I am facing one or the other problem with this vehicle since the beginning of my purchase.

    Leaking of water

    I have purchased the RXT in October 2015.
    1. Space below headlights renders water and dust accumulation.
    2. Water is leaking and coming inside the seats.
    3. A large space below front glass leads to water accumulation, dust accumulation.
    4. Gear box is not working properly. Problem in 2nd gear.
    5. If AC is on, car sounds with vibrations. In this case car takes time to speed. Difficult to maintain low speed in crowded are while ac is on.

    Jun 23, 2016 Extremely Poor Service - Ranault Karnavati Ahmedabad and Review on Car

    Hi Sir/Madam,

    I have purchase Renault Kwid Red (RXT) on 09.03.2016 from Renault Karnavati Ahmedabad. Today is 23.06.2016. Till the date, my vehicle is not registered with RTO. This is really disappointing and embarrassing. If RTO will charge penalty for delay in vehicle registration then who will going to pay that extra cost.?

    The approach from showroom sales staff is really unprofessional. They are very lazy is response and resolving issues. Most of the time, they do not pick the phones.

    I will not recommend anyone to buy Car from Karnavati Ahmedabad.

    Review on Car :

    Poor Mileage

    I bought a kwid RXT in jan last, I driven 5000 Kms the mileage only gets between 14 to 15, I checked with all type of drivers, then mileage gets the same, with ac without ac also the will be same,, its only 800 cc and weight less car,, the showroom also not taking action about my complaint, comparing to alto 800, swift, Hyundai i10 and eon its very very poor mileage,,
    sometimes in traffic the engine gets struck in first gear.............

    May 23, 2016 Faulty fuel meter, pathetic average, car non- responsive on ghat/steep slopes, engine not tuning not upto the mark

    I took my Renualt Kwid RxT O delvery in the last week of Feb 2016. Below is my list of complaints for the GenNext Dealer (Andheri - west)

    1. The car was delivered with no fuel in the tank. The car stopped in the middle of the road (just 2kms form the showroom. My house is 4km form the showroom). The showroom didnt even bother to give enough fuel to drive 5kms. The sales person Mr. Vaibhav Rane was unapologetic and I had to get fuel from the nearest petrol pump. This is my first car and the pathetic sales service runied my experience. What kind of a dealer cant give 5 litres of fuel in the car ? Really pathetic service from GenNext motors and Renault. Totally unacceptable.

    2 The fuel meter is faulty. After I fill the tank upto the brim, the car only runs 200 kms, which when you calculate comes to the fuel efficieny of 10 km/litre if we assume the fuel tank capacity of 20 litres. But the manual says tank capacity is 28 litres so the fuel effciency is even less and I am ashmaed to calculate.

    3. The car literally is out of power on gentle ghats, let alone steep ghats. While driving from Mumbai to Lonavala / Pune the car literally refused to move on the Khandala ghat ( we were 4 adults in the car). It was a real effort to take the car past this gentle ghat. I cant imagine what will happen on more steep ghats. Although Kwid is sold as a city car, it should be able to perform well on highways and ghats. Alto 800 / Tata Nano drive very well on these ghats.

    4. The clutch pedal is too hard and often causes unexpected bursts of power or powerlessness in traffic. The car is totally unpredictable and needs to driven with utmost care. A global company like Renault is expected to atleast get the engine - clutch - accelerator tuning right for its car. Maruti / Tata / Hyundai have done a tremendous job with their small cars but Renault has failed in getting the basics right. I shall not recommend Kwid to anyone as there are many good cars available within the same price range now ( Tata Tiago, Alto 800 etc)

    5. Design fault - there is gap between the headlight and the front bumpers where water accumalates and destroys the paint. The comapny needs to find a solution quickly for this. There are many such gaps in the body of hte car where water accumalates and turns the paint white.

    6. Last but not the least - I booked my car for 4.5 lacs and at the time of delivery I was told the prices have increased and you will need to pay 20 thousand extra. Utterly unprofessional and cheap tactics by the company and the dealer which could not even provide enought fuel to drive 5 kms.

    Thumbs down to the a sub-standard product and pathetic on- boarding service.

    May 19, 2016 KWID RXT- WORST CAR

    Bought Kwid RXT 3 days back from Trident Motors -Jayanagar , have driven 260 Kml till now only and I am scared to drive furthur.

    Major Complaints .

    1. Burning Smell from the engine- Day 1
    2. Left sound system is not working
    3. Very poor Pickup- The car is literally out of breath in humps,uphill, slope.
    4. Guys this car is very risky to drive in the city especially during signals - there is poor pick up in the car and is very disturbing for the following traffic.
    5. Brakes are not very responsive and have to be pressed completely to get proper effect.

    8: Box lid opens every now & then due to its lock issue.
    9: Oil sump is of plastic, always have fear of getting broken on rough roads.

    3. When i complaint about this - local dealer / service center guys; they did some sort of program upgrade. I saw the issue was little bit gone but not fully . I still see the problem.

    4. And here is most imp issue - Climbing - 4-5 feet slope( not very sharp); Even alto can climb easily without rolling backward. However KWID - its scary.

    I have been using this car since oct 2015. I am plan to sale it now..

    Hi All,

    I bought a kwid a week back,first day of my driving some burning smell is coming from the engine and started smoking heavily.Suddenly i stopped my car and called customer care.They took toeing vehicle and took my car away.Now i got a call from service people are telling there is no problem is the car!!!
    As they are telling i don't know how to put a clutch!!! Please dont take this worst car, it is not good.Dont get cheated.

    Dear Sir

    This is most unfortunate , which is going on with us. Against My Last complain on 18th April , the vehicle handover to me on 01st may.2016. The wind screen was found broken at the time of delivery ( Receiving Attached), and the main complain found at it is. NCR Motor Promised to replace wind screen within 4 Days. Which is not replaced yet. Day before yesterday on NH-8 , the vehicle race dropped sudden and I just missed a nearby accident with a Maruti Wagner , the life taken accident just missed due to alertness of that Person Mr. Deepak Jain, Car No. HR26CH5145 . The life saved by the god grace other vise my life as well as the passenger in the Wagner can be lost.

    Now after that incident I am not interested to keep this vehicle, Just see how a international company playing with the life of customers. Without solution of the problem vehicle handover to go to the hell. I am feeling Mentally disturb and harassed a lot , what happen if I lose my life , I am only earning hand of the family. Now I want compensation for all this.

    1st . I am not able to use vehicle from last 19 Days . Using Cab or to go anywhere. Expenses- 50000 Rs.
    2.nd –Mental Harassment , and Risk to my and others life. – 2000000. Rs
    3. Return the cost of Vehicle – As Per Invoice.

    From today at this moment , I am given a week time to compensation. Next Monday I will go to Consumer Court and as well as will take this matter with Renault International .

    Hi,This is Dr.C.Selvamony.its been over 5 months that i got my renault kwid rxt delivered and the mileage is not as specified.As per the display im getting the mileage as leas than 11 kmpl.some times even it lowers to 10 kmpl.i mean this is ridiculous....even after the first service nothing has changed.akward sevices and mileage issues makes me to suggest my friends not to consider kwid if they are looking to buy a new car.

    I had got the renault kwid rxt from khivraj - chennai after a long struggle, they are not serving as the first come first basics.

    After receiving , i am getting only 11kmpl after 1st service(long travel out of city), in the service they had only done water wash and given. My navigation had stop functioning within a week, i had struggled with the dealer, till now they had not installed, they had ordered for me and they fitted to other car. Then whats the use of booking complaint.

    Very awkward service from sales to service.

    I had sent my vehicle a more than 5 days at there end, they had not communicated about the status and action taken, eventhough we try to contact ,there is no proper reply.

    i have taken KWID RXT 4days ago 28th April 2016 from sri sri motors jubilee hills hyderabad, with in next day there is a engine malware getting highlighted and after that there is burning smell all over the car next day when i went nearby to my place complete clutch gone i have droven not even 50 kms, now they are charging me with rs 5000 for clutch charges,

    n i have faced all those respective complaints are true to my knowldge as car is not moving or climbing

    i have made a huge blunder by taking this car,

    v depressed hard earned money...

    Jan 9, 2016 All fixed but mileage issue is headache

    Im myself rakesh kancharla, i got kwid on November end. Initially lot of problems, no space avail to list ha ha, let me tell common prob so you can fix it before taking delivery of car.

    Executive will say PDI completed but dont let him go. Get this fixed else you will suffer
    - Ask them to change the front utility box, the lock will broke exactly in a week or so.
    - Touch screen player will stop working intermediate. . After several fight the issue was sorted.- some ISO Wiring was replaced.
    - Heavy rattle sound from car tail - issue found was the parcel tray is not sitting properly. Got this replaced
    - Damn it heavy scratching sound when you press clutch. The issue started after 200km or so, the cable used was defective and they have replaced it.

    Issues apart from PDI .. personal car side issues
    - Left side wheel arch completely damaged when a two wheeler guy banged me. Fixed thru outside as the renault guys gave totally irritating timeline. 10 to 12 days. Also i was afraid of loosing NCB
    - Car cabin light was on ( my kid did this ) it should been full night. Car was dead and had to manually charge battery
    -Wipe broke and scratched the windshield. Due to my negligence, i got a phone when driving so stopped car and accidentally touched wiper and went for a smoke while on call. After the call it was pity moment.

    Overall distance covered - 5400 km
    Mileage - City 5 to 9 max - i never seen a car which gave changing figures even when highway drive. Some icu or ecu bug ? how come the mileage keeps varying every time. Never seen 2 digit mileage return

    One word - Renault is new to these much sudden sales boost so all the service ppl and sales guys became headweight. Kindly note if this car becomes a flop after some months think your status....

    Good about car - Looks
    Bad about Car- almost everything other than looks. I made a mistake by going for petrol car and that too for kwid which has low mileage.

    Any car which has ARAI figure of 20+ then it will give 15 to 18 but kwid has failed a real time on mileage.

    All the issues like rattle sound etc etc can be fixed but dont know how to fix mileage

    PLANNING TO SELL CAR IN OLX OR QUIKR OR ANY DEALER . POOR MILEAGE DONT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS.
    I have spent 35000Rs from my pocket for covering this 5400km. It makes bigger hole in pocket.

    It is a no brainer to compare kwid with swift or figo .. but still with Alto ion i can compare.

    Hi,

    Myself subramanian, i brought my new kwid on Nov2015. But till date am getting a mileage of 8km/l. I was said that it will give a best in class mileage of 25km/l, but not even getting 10km/l. Its waste of money only.
    I checked with renault service center twice, every time they are telling there are no issues with the kwid mileage. But am getting the same results.
    Can anybody help me in this situation or help me what i can do next.

    Jan 6, 2016 Squeeking noise from brake

    Sir my kwid done 1st service still squeeking noise not corrected. Irritating it is my hard earned money paying loan every month for this car. Front side small box keep open and not close. Common problems I face are
    Mileage ..kitna deti hai ???? Never got more than 12 . b to b traffic I got 7 . no constant mileage. I owned alto for 5 years and sold it for kwid. I get 16 constant in alto.
    Frnd bot eon which is generation ahead on terms of quality :-( . kwid door feels like plastic baby toy .
    It is my mistake in first place so not compared quality.
    Renault said their service booking is full hence come tomorrow but I need to take car to office. I took can and adjusted one day but still delayed and promise fix by first service. Looks like nothing fixed.
    Just car dusted and given back . Renault service is worst. I complain and they say wait for engine set .

    Most worst problem which you must consider before going for kwid .

    CAR DOES NOT CLIMB IN SMALL RAMP OR EVEN STEEP ROADS. YOU NEED TO PUT FIRST GEAR , HOLD BRAKS , PUSH ACCELERATOR AND RELEASE CLUTCH.     service guy said driving style . so I asked him to take my kwid and drive from basement and he told did same thing car stalled 4 to 5 times. Later he said car engine differs. Low rpm and high rpm torque and confused me.

    I'm least bothered abt rpm etc what I need is why the car can't climb ramps ?

    Last issue going through pathholes there is a huge tud noise from suspension . the same pathole in blore crossed by laks of vehicles and alto goes easily but kwid makes tud noice and mmost ofthe time everyone keeps looking what noise is it .


    I'm cmg to your service center in a week as you said full full .. Fix mileage fix squeeking noise. Mileage .. Box not closed . 1 to 3 seconds delay in touch after some time in music player.

    Wraffer thin doors are my fault I must have not gone . but above issues are serious squeeking noise from brake is irritating sir .. My hard earned money .. A middle class man

    Sir, i was promised a mileage of 15+ in city whereas my highest mileage achieved is 8 . Only car looking big but build quality is poor like tin can. One more issue the bumper clip was broken and they offered to replace bumper under 0 dep insurance but bumper is not available . yes so far 1 month and no spares. I used quick fix for bumper fix

    Apr 7, 2016 Kwid is a disappointment

    I have taken delivery of the Kwid RXT on the 22/03/2016

    Issues faced as follows.

    1) Within the first 350 kms i covered i have squeaky noisy brakes at low speed braking. if i go any faster than 40kmph and hit the brakes the brakes lockup as if i have slamed it hard.. Lots of black brake dust on the front wheels

    2) Loss of power : while driving through traffic at a slow pace and when you push the accelerator there is a sudden loss of power.

    3) Engine noise in the cabin

    4) Mileage: 25kmph may be under test conditions but anything under 18 is pathetic. I am getting 14 at the moment and not sure if thats true as i am relying on the display which may not be accurate.

    I am yet to complete 1000 kms and these issues from the car are not acceptable.I would highly recommend people who are awaiting their delivery to reconsider their options.

    As for Renault it would be wiser to invest more time and money in R&D to rectify these more or less similar issues in these posts rather than considering a 1 liter automatic option.

    Your product is screwing your reputation just the way your "GENIUS" brain wave of the 2008 formula one season did !

    I am a middle class guy wanting to buy a decent entry level car and when I first saw kwid I decided it was the car! So on sep 18 2015 I booked a kwid rxt o at khivraj Renault Pondicherry! I could sense a feeling of anxiety at the showroom as the people there did not know much about the car! And then I waited 3 months! In January a price hike was announced, and I frantically made calls to the dealer so that they can deliver car before that! But they always said your car will come next week. But the car did not come for 3 months and the price further increased! So after waiting for 6 and a half months frustrated I went to the dealer and cancelled my booking. The staff there never seemed to care! They respect only duster owners and treat kwid buyers like shit! Since we are only middle class! If they so hate the lower classes why make a car targeting them? After cancellation I went straight to a nearby Hyundai showroom and booked an eon! The staff there spoke very assuringly and told me they would deliver my car in 7 working days! So middle class people Hyundai and maruti are the ones for us! This is where experience and years of servicing feels like which khivraj or Renault know nothing about! Other car companies treat us like shit! I mean you can clearly see the rich poor divide in a khivraj Renault showroom who are the worst dealers ever!

    I bought Kwid in month of February. i noticed issues as shown below.

    1. major issue is breaking, break will get lock it wont even allow you to stop once you remove the key. On top of that you have to be very careful while applying the breaks immediate rear to the another vehicle. I mean to say breaks are timely responsive.

    2. Mileage issue, i am getting 8-10 KM/L. It is far below the claimed i.e 25 KM PL. kwid is making fool of customers when comes to this point.

    3. Gear box is non responsive, not like as Marathi's.

    4. Engine noise is leveraging more while A/C on.

    5. Cabin light, Gearshift indicator and fuel points, Distance to empty these technical issues are to be rectified. These are working as a name sake but not shows accurate results.

    7. Apart from these when comes to positives Its is good looking cars compared to other peers, wheel base and ground clearance, suspension are really good.

    If the Renault is could not able to rectify all the above issues i sure this car will extinct from the market very soon. Already bad word of mouth is spreading across the City.

    Please try to recall all vehicles and fix the problems permanently. Do not show up few satisfied customers because most of Kwid buyers not satisfied.

    1: Brake noisy

    2: No pickup once the speed is lowered near speed breakers. Need to press / depress few times to again make the car moving

    3: With AC on feel like some one is pulling back the car & heSeatnce may be no average at all.

    4: Suspensions are weak.

    5: Fuel tank capacity is too low.

    6: Horns sometimes sound well & sometimes not.

    7: Seat quality is very poor.

    8: Box lid opens every now & then due to its lock issue.

    9: Oil sump is of plastic, always have fear of getting broken on rough roads.

    I got my kwid rxt delivery on 18th March 2016.
    1. Average from day 1 is 8-10km per liter, which is not as promised by renault i.e. 25 km/pl.
    2. Gear box doesn't function properly.
    3. While breaking, beaks make noise, not soft.
    4. Car doesn't accelerates well in slow moving traffic,some time it shut downs.
    5. On AC switched on car doesn't performs very well and shut down issue is quite common in traffic or while putting car in 1st gear.
    Maruti alto is way better, even though celerio.
    Overall car sucks.

    Hi All,

    Friends, I started facing some serious problem with my kwid since last few months and really frustrated any annoyed with it, presume most of you are also facing the similar problem. This really makes me think about the vehicle durability & reliability on a long run. Below is my problem description. I have written a mail to Renault and expecting a response from their authorities on what assurance & confidence that they are going to give us on this vehicles durability and reliability? If the response is not convincing I would request all the Kwid owners to highlight this so that we can form a group and file a consumer case with the Manufacturer for selling an unreliable & problematic vehicle and causing inconvenience to the customers.My email id is [email protected]

    1. Since few months especially in heavy traffic with AC ON in the first & second gears the engine doesn’t respond & the vehicle doesn’t move even we press the accelerator, this is really frustrating and irritates me as the vehicle doesn’t move, this is not only causing inconvenience to me but to other people who are behind my vehicle also gets struck in the traffic along with me, this is really an embarrassing situation which I can’t even explain you.

    2. And sometimes with AC ON in the traffic, the engine vibrates very badly.

    3. Not getting proper mileage in the city condition.

    Iam not getting any satisfaction with this vehicle and never felt iam owning a brand new car. I regret myself in choosing the Renault & never expected this from such a reputed brand.

    Though iam getting a wonderful service from my dealer, but I lost all the all the confidence on Renault Brand and doubt on the durability & reliability of this product as im facing one or the other problem with this vehicle since the beginning of my purchase.

    Sir,

    We bought in Nov 2015 kwid RXT and following are the deadly issues.

    1). Breaks fails to apply at speeds of 40-60 approx. To be more clear break padal gets locked u can't press to stop. May God forbid if panic breaking needs apply and it failed then I will be in great problem both mentally and by law. Please rectify problem by recalling cars unlike many car companies did.
    2) Acceleration fails many times.
    3). Engine noise is too much. More than diesel engine of latest technologies of same class.
    4) hand pocket latches doesn't fixes, reverse gear light need to rectify and so on....

    I request the Renault team not to do R&D on customers money it will cost you loosing brand image.

    After long waiting eg. 5-Months, I received Kwid RXT Red on 23rd EFB-2016 Facing following Problems after next hours of Delivery of Car.

    1) Fuel Pump having heavy noise like whistle.(Showroom people easily say you can't replaced the piece)
    2) Steering got so much jammed (Electric Power Steering Feel is not There)
    3) Rear door LH not Opened from Inner Side.
    4) Fog lamp never worked.
    5) Fuel Level indicator not worked.
    6) Hissing song from under floor like small rocks bitten.
    I Compliant to Customer care But Very Poor Response, Also Service Manager from Renault Aurangabad fails to Solved the Said Problems after 2 to 3 times, And foolishly says that due to new technology usage in car more time required to resolved the issues. already I spend 1 month time with Renault Aurangabad Service center. But Problem not Solved.....
    Every time Facing new problem after visiting and Receiving the Car from Aurangabad Service Center.
    They just west my time and make R&D in KWID.......

    I booked Kwid on 9th November 2015 in Patparganj Industrial area Delhi center, promised the delivery will be end of January 2016. I was given an agent’s number to contact in case of any query tried to call him several time as wanted a Date so that I can convey the same to my Bank for loan documentation, once he received the call and advice that he would call back however this guy never called or responded on any of my call. After getting another number for center from google got through another team member of the center around last week of January this guy informed that they will be able to get me the car by end of February, so I conveyed the same to my bank representative and initiated the paper work accordingly. After 10 days I got a call from the 2 agent advising that he had my desired color available but that is furnished and I would have pay around 23K extra and I can take the car any time, I didn’t wanted the furnished one so I denied. Since then I have been trying to chase these guys for a delivery date however after so many attempts no answer from them. I visited the center and was advised 10th March now today on 09th I got a call from them informing another 10 days needed. This is highly unprofessional behavior. I would never ever in my life would book anything from this center also something this sought of is not expected from a Renault division. Would appreciate if somebody would look into this matter. Also the price hike should not hamper the booked car.
    I understand the Chennai plant being destroyed would have created that backlog, but the dealer should be answer that appropriately. They want some extra money and they are ready to give car that is not the way.

    Sir, i booked Kwid on 14th oct 2015, promising the delivery will be january 2016, got a call from the dealer only in feb 1st week that the car is allotted for me asked me to pay the amount, I paid the 100% ex showroom price though finance, after taking the money they say the colour of the car which I wanted is not there and also asking for the difference in the excise duty, then why did he say that car is allotted to me, till now inspite of several reminders no response.
    If this remains for a week more i am Planning to go to RTI and get the original allocation and file a case in the consumer court.

    Dear Sir,

    I have booked Renault Kwid in the month of Nov, 2015 at Renault Karnawati (Ahmedabad) and with the promise that delivery will be made in January. Now, after so much struggle ,they have managed to allot me One Kwid but when I go for the final discussion they said pricing is increased and I have to pay as per current structure. Earlier basic pricing was Rs. 3,68,504 and now they are asking basic price as Rs. 3,79,747. All respective components have been increased and total difference at the time of booking and delivery time is almost Rs. 24,000/-

    Boss, when I have booked this car and all bifurcation has been mentioned then how can you asked price hike.? This is really unprofessional and unethical practices by Renault / authorized dealer. Even, they are not able to justify why the pricing has been increased.

    I have finally decided to cancel my booking because Renault / authorized dealer is not interested / bother to satisfy their customer but they are interested in taking new booking rather than retaining customer.

    Renault people and their dealers are overloaded with so much of bookings. They weren't prepare for such huge bookings . And this is reflecting in their service. No one is bothering to give any response. I booked my car from Renault Thane(Mumbai) more than 3 and half months ago. First they said that car delivery will be in mid January, Then they said feb 1st week. Now its last week of Feb still i haven't received my car. I have made 100s of calls to the dealer but of no use. Renault Thane is in pathetic condition. Still I don't know about the delivery date of my car .they should provide me with fix delivery date of getting my car. there are many people I have come across who booked car after I booked and received car before I received it. I have a serious doubt about black selling of car being done at Renault Thane. Even they don't give any booking number might be so that they can carry malpractices. Renault should look into this matter with high priority. Now i feared about the after sell service of the car. Such is the situation before getting the car , i fear to imagine then what will be after getting it. concerned people please look into this matter.

    I booked Kwid top model on 27th Sept'15 and I am yet to receive the delivery details for the same. I booked from Renault Showroom in south Delhi (Greater Kailash ). Whenever I call or visit them they extend the delivery date by one month. First it was in the month of November then January and now they are saying it will be done by March'16. Is there any black marketing going on?? Kindly help me in this case. As when I call Renault customer care they say to contact the dealer and the dealer is of no use.

    I booked this car on 23rd september 2015 and have still not received my car. I was one of those who have pre booked the car even before the prices were released. They do not even have the courtesy to call and tell that the car is being delayed. Every time i call them they make a promise that the car will be delivered in 2nd or 3rd week of the next month. this has happend for 3 months in a row now and now i'm being said that i will get my car in February.     Im Rohit from HP Wadi, given kwid for service the first free one. The service rep was happy to note down each and every complaint i raised. The timeline given was 2 working days. Left car on 11th monday and took today 13th. I found these cheaters have not even cared to fix the complaints raised. Only car washing was done. Major issue was gear shift to reverse stuck and make vehicle makes some roaring sound.No one bothered to care and giving importance to big cars duster and kwid owner standing like beggers. Both are money man this one is 4lak and that one is 8 lak this is small and that is big .Complain raised to renault number, a promised solution will be given in 2 to 3 days. If you not fix then i will write in every blog and also spread info about you , stick posters for cheating. worst service center ...car with great looks and lot of issues.

    My bad only one service center in my city :( that too always full .

    I believed all the positive video reviews from major automobile reviewers. It was all paid guys. Someone complained kwid mileage is low but i am in a status of unable to use reverse gear .

    Poor quality of KWID

    Kind Attn:- Renault Technical team.

    Myself Arun. I got the delivery of kwid RXT(O) on 26.11.2015 and driven 1000 km in one month. I have faced following problems.
    1) In dash glove box lock not working at the time of delivery replaced in glove box in 3 days.
    2) Big whistle sound in fuel pump - replaced
    3) Clutch squeak noise when pressed or released. Service Center technicians told that its due to clutch cable moves in bracket and padle. which is replaced. With in one hour of taking car out or service center the same noise is observed.
    4) Engine noise is very loud and big vibrations. As a petrol engine it should not be there. - Service Center technicians said that it is issue related to Renault engine manufacturing and they do not wish to say anything about it. They only can forward customers response the the company and company has to take necessary steps.

    As a customer I don't expect from renault. Such problems should be checked prior to the delivery of the car. I am in view that there is poor quality check in manufacturing. Also kwid spares are not available at Service Centers.

    Technical team should take it in right spirit and improve. Customers should not Suffer. If I got above problems in one month. I don't know what will be problems to be faced in future.

    I must appreciate the service center's prompt response and action taken to resolve the problems. But still if technician feels that the noise of clutch is due to cable movement in bracket and its friction. Then I feel its R & D issue and problem in design. I checked my another vehicle "Santro Xing" and found that cable has rubber bush to fix in bracket. Obviously it will stop moving of cable in bracket and its friction.

    Technical team should take a note & improve. I hope all delivered kwid should be replaced with new developed clutch cables.

    If renault wishes to stay in Indian market this should not be happened.

    We are facing problem with Self start for almost 20 days and have been calling your toll free customer care since then (complaint no. 34083) but all we got is no response and no call back.

    I asked your customer support guys to provide me the superior number who can help us in this case, but they refused to provide the same. If they can't resolve the situation then they should give us the high authority number, if they can't provide us than how should we trust them. I have all the converstions recorded with your customer care people and with your road assistance ( since road assistance dept is worst, they behaviour, way of speech....). So if i dint get any solution today then definitely i will upload all the recorded conversation over wats app, facebook, you tube, linked inn etc...

    I will advertise not to buy renault kwid, i will show my car as an example to all who go for it.

    Sir,

    My name is Pankaj Kumar and I have purchased the Kwid RXT variant from Bareilly City which was booked only on the condition that the delivery could be received before my sister's marriage date.

    The dealer confirmed that the vehicle delivery will be given on time and they asked us to pay 50% amount as booking which paid and given them option for three colours.

    When we went to take the delivery for the vehicle, they informed us that the vehicle lot came and all vehicles were delivered to other customers and we need to wait.

    We were in very bad condition as the next day marriage was there and we didn't received any vehicle.

    With lot of struggle and difficulty we asked them to cancel the booking and refund the entire amount. Somehow some gentle men (who was partner in the same dealership) came and offered us the vehicle which he kept in some different location of yard.

    When we took the delivery of the vehicle, the vehicle was having many problems specially in the transmission and engine was having more noise. Gear lever had lot of play and vibration. They didn't even bothered to check the vehicle thoroughly and given the vehicle delivery.

    Now the vehicle is pending for registation since last more than three weeks and no initiative is being taken by the dealer.

    Please take strict action to immediately resolve the problem.

    Reanult kwid is worst car in market and specially it had list of most worst dealers.

Some major technical issues in my car and your dealers know very well about the technical issues. Like 1. Front fog lights are not working. 2. Jack rods are not available in the car. 3. Dashboard dror lock was brake. 4. Some minor fault regarding music systems. When this car giving me she is not clean properly. ( feviquick) lgi hui thi.
    I purchase this car Assem Autos sonepat. Please take strict action to immediately and resolve my problem.

    i purchased rxt on 29 May 16. ihe engine is noisy, pick up delay. low average , engine vibrates if AC is on. co. should look in to the matter to solve it.:(:(:(

    Renault KWID Poor Performance

    Hello Friends, I started facing some serious problem with my KWID since very beginning and really frustrated any annoyed with it, presume most of you are also facing the similar problem. This really makes me think about the vehicle durability & reliability on a long run. Below is my problem description. I have written a mail to Renault and expecting a response from their authorities on what assurance & confidence that they are going to give us on this vehicles durability and reliability? If the response is not convincing I would request all the KWID owners to highlight this so that we can form a group and file a consumer case with the Manufacturer for selling an unreliable & problematic vehicle and causing inconvenience to the customers.     1. Since few months especially in heavy traffic with AC ON in the first & second gears the engine doesn’t respond & the vehicle doesn’t move even we press the accelerator, this is really frustrating and irritates me as the vehicle doesn’t move, this is not only causing inconvenience to me but to other people who are behind my vehicle also gets struck in the traffic along with me, this is really an embarrassing situation which I can’t even explain you.

    2. And sometimes with AC on in the traffic, the engine vibrates very badly. I have to shut the AC off and then take its pick-up.

    3. Not getting proper mileage in the city condition, unfortunately its under 13-14 KMPL.

    4. No pickup once the speed is lowered near speed breakers. Need to press / depress few times to again make the car moving.

    5. The Engine is Making lot of noise.

    6. Space below headlights renders water and dust accumulation.

    I am not getting any satisfaction with this vehicle and never felt i am owning a brand new car. I regret myself in choosing the Renault's KWID & never expected this from such a reputed brand.

    Though i am getting a satisfactory service from my service center, however I lost all the all the confidence from Renault Brand and doubt on the durability & reliability of this product as I am facing one or the other problem with this vehicle since the beginning of my purchase.

    Leaking of water

    I have purchased the RXT in October 2015.
    1. Space below headlights renders water and dust accumulation.
    2. Water is leaking and coming inside the seats.
    3. A large space below front glass leads to water accumulation, dust accumulation.
    4. Gear box is not working properly. Problem in 2nd gear.
    5. If AC is on, car sounds with vibrations. In this case car takes time to speed. Difficult to maintain low speed in crowded are while ac is on.

    Jun 23, 2016 Extremely Poor Service - Ranault Karnavati Ahmedabad and Review on Car

    Hi Sir/Madam,

    I have purchase Renault Kwid Red (RXT) on 09.03.2016 from Renault Karnavati Ahmedabad. Today is 23.06.2016. Till the date, my vehicle is not registered with RTO. This is really disappointing and embarrassing. If RTO will charge penalty for delay in vehicle registration then who will going to pay that extra cost.?

    The approach from showroom sales staff is really unprofessional. They are very lazy is response and resolving issues. Most of the time, they do not pick the phones.

    I will not recommend anyone to buy Car from Karnavati Ahmedabad.

    Review on Car :

    Poor Mileage

    I bought a kwid RXT in jan last, I driven 5000 Kms the mileage only gets between 14 to 15, I checked with all type of drivers, then mileage gets the same, with ac without ac also the will be same,, its only 800 cc and weight less car,, the showroom also not taking action about my complaint, comparing to alto 800, swift, Hyundai i10 and eon its very very poor mileage,,
    sometimes in traffic the engine gets struck in first gear.............
