I disagree, 121 is not "marginally OK", it's one of the best cars that arrived from Japan to Sri Lankan shores. She meets almost all the requirements of majority of Sri Lankan carbuyers (you can maintain and run her without your wallet even noticing while having fun driving in comfort and safety,) thus one of the most sought cars in SL to date. Even the enthusiastic driver can enjoy the drive without getting bored

Fun to drive? I don't think so. It gets boring because it has a conventional automatic transmission. it can pick up speed very fast compared to these 30 second indian shits but 10 seconds is still slow for a guy who's used to get to 100 in 5 seconds. (bikes ruined cars for me )

To all the people who's offended by my comment about corolla 121. I said that to point out where this quid stands in my POV. IMO: Kwid shouldn't be road legal, nor any of those <1000 4 wheeled three wheelers.
That marginally okay car can get shit done, take us places while saving a buck, out live many of us and possibly save our asses in an accident without a scratch.

It has its weaknesses but still, 121 is still "quite the car". I myself am not a fan of corollas and I don't own a corolla (probably never will), but still I find certain corollas to "hit the spot" and the 121 is one of them.
