Sadly it's out of fashion now. Only in SL , India etc children are not born naturally anymore.
Obviously the doctors prefer this for their own convenience and the prospective parents also has their own reasons too, other than stupidity.
If a C-section done for a valid medical reason go for it one hundred percent.
They are generally safe but there are many undesirable outcomes, some including long term and affecting future pregnancies as well. People are not made aware of these when they opt for a C-section.
Plus of course the private hospital income....

Check with your doctor... You cannot do the delivery yourself. So your options are limited. But what I said is true.

Actually Health sector has become a money pit filled with greedy assh***. They treat people so badly in gov hospitals so people will always choose private hospitals over gov. Doctors who don’t care about private hospitals treat people who come to gov hospitals with respect. Most of private hospitals bills cannot be justified.

Any doctor in SL can perform a C-section or normal delivery with ease so don’t bother yourself trying to look for a popular doctor.

Had our first child today (normal delivery)at castle street hospital, i want to say staff was really helpful and we have quite a lot of lectures/lessons to learn all the things that we should aware of and it was a really great place. In lectures they advise the value of doing normal delivery also,

total cost 287,000 -3 Days ( including normal delivery procedure, we tried half a day then decided to go for a cesa -Dr.Thiran Dias

Goverment ඒවයෙනම් ඔය කියන තරම් බනින්නෙ නෑ.දන්න තරමින් Castle එක හොඳටම හොඳයි.මගෙ Wife එක්කන් ගියෙත් Government Hospital.
Government ඒවයෙ ගොඩක්ම Normal ම තමා ගන්න හදන්නෙ.බැරිම උනොත් තමා Cesarean කරන්නෙ. ඒක තමා තියෙන අවුල.
