I don't really see the problem operating in Sri Lanka, we have an abundance of good talent and with work being more and more decentralised the potential upside is higher.

Short-medium terms there are some hiccups. I think the country needs a bailout but I also think we'll get it. No one wants countries falling into absolute ruin as that benefits no-one.

Haha saw it I was very optimistic in 2020 and believed there is a huge potential for freelancers and people work in SL for foreign countries as they bring down USD. In 2021 these hiccups have led many disruptions for them to focus on their work and some might get paranoid about staying here. I hope for a IMF bailout but worse case somebody may bail out by taking over some resources in SL.

Anyway glad that you showed up in EK and i believe you can share knowledge with everyone as a young successful entrepreneur. Next question have you invested on Crypto currencies or NFTs? Whats your opinion on them?

I think post-covid opportunities for LK are radically different to the pre-covid ones. My opinions on the situation changed quite a lot when we saw our own team grow from ~25 to over 150 partly because of some unlocks that covid gave away. I think some sort of bailout is imminent (unsure of the nature of it, but it has a higher likelihood than not).

I don't actively participate in the current use cases of crypto except some fun things here and there. We're in the process of launching our own development team to work on specific blockchain projects which to me is currently more interesting.

Most NFTs are basically a scam. Be careful when vetting the underlying principles.

It would be nice if you could share the process or tips on how to get funding like this. A lot of EK members have good business/startup ideas but they have no idea how to boost it with investors (specially foreign investors). So they always follow traditional ways find customers and use that money to slowly expand. May be you can start your own thread too for those discussions
