I'm earning a little over Rs. 1 million per month, but by the end of the month there's almost nothing left.

Most of my income goes towards my kids' school fees (2 kids), van fees, education expenses, groceries (meat, fish, vegetables, etc.), mortgage, vehicle finance, other personal loans, credit card payments, gold pawns, electricity bills (which are quite high because of the AC), and family events like weddings and parties. And occational trips.

I've also invested in two main businesses and one smaller hobby-type business, so that takes up a lot of money as well.

Right now, I have less than Rs. 10,000 in my bank account until my next salary.

What are the 2 businesses machan? Also you could go for Solar (or should have gone for it) to cover the electricity cost. That is one of the best decisions I made last couple of years.
