yeah, this would make it easy to understand what you are saying. I didnt expect a technical dhamma explanation, just wanted know how you correlate the example to the dhamma..instead of putting my own interpretation to your example "when I reflect on them" - what does this mean, reflect? -

ok, so you identify (in this example) wrong path: you feel relieved for a moment but thurst comes back 10 time worse correct path: you feel the difference instantly, it is refreshing ok, get the example. and how does this relate in dhamma search? what is feel relieved? what is thrust coming... -

i get that. as you said before when you realized your questions are flawed and there are an underlying problem and the solution, your glass is full. my question was when you would know this glass is not filling up with the current path, so you have to find another? -

ok, so it it like? you feel something not right, something beyond life exists you have questions about that and listen to bana search for answers when listening, at some point you realize, those questions were flawed and by products of a deeper underlying issue, once you clearly see this deeper... -

this is exactly what im talking about. you already defined a set of problems that must be solved for the dhamma to be considered true (fulfilling). that is your criteria... and as you said below, you already know what the real problem is (the capacity of the glass needed to be filled) you know... -
