I think there should be a mixed approach. Socialism and Capitalism are too extreme ends in either way. There are positives for both but nothing fully qualified for a practical society. Every government must create an environment where everybody gets an opportunity live and go towards their goals. This is not to say government must provide all the jobs, healthcare etc. But Government must make sure everybody gets their basic needs fulfilled. In every country, every society there can be people who struggle to even get their basic needs fulfilled. Someone can say its not government's fault. It may be true but all these people vote for a government. Every vote counts regardless of their status. So they have a right to expect that the government will give them some opportunity to make their lives better. Things like education, basic healthcare, professional training are decisive factors of every society. So government's must look into improve these areas for at least people who can't afford these things. Government must identify pros and cons of both approaches and must make their policies flexible according to the social needs. There must be some input to get an output. So if such people get something they will get better lives and will contribute to the economy. Otherwise, if they are neglected, then there will be beggars.
