Why is Afghanistan collapsing so quickly?

1 They built a weak Afghan security force (US routinely cut training and funding for security forces)
2. They negotiated with the Taliban (they went behind the Afghan gov to speak the the Taliban)
3. They left too early and too suddenly (they left at the start of Taliban offensive and without securing peace)

Also, a sizable portion of the muslim world prefers Taliban. It's not as if there's unanimous public consensus that Taliban is a regressive form of governance. But as is usually the case, the muslims who prefers Taliban aren't even Afghans. They (people outside Afghanistan, expats etc.) just want to see an Islamist government at the expense of native Afghans who have no choice but to live in that country.
