Why do you think one shouldn't talk about how unfair the government treats the people who are affected and suffer from the extreme weather? You think it's fair to allocate 600 Million for one person's comfort while allocating so measly a sum, 150 million, for 300,000 displaced people who lack basic necessities such as food, drinking water and shelter?

Government's around de world have failed when dealing with de aftermath of natural disasters , 150 m is more than enough to deal with de initial aftermath which is to arrange hot meals, fresh water etc...rescue operations been carried out by Army.nevy n air force which again government institutions, try to understand de situation which de SL is in now n do wht you can to help de fellow citizens who are affected by de natural disaster

Because you shouldn't use a tragic climatic situation to shove your political agenda. Most of us are sick of all politicians and their chuk gang. The people who are suffering from the weather belong to all religions, all gender.

Most of us are getting sick of your bullcrap UNP, UPFA, JVP and all other crap. Unless you're not aware of the reality of politics, you will keep on crying for your "dream" politician.

Stop being a slave to politics. Unless you were born in 2015, you should know all politicians are crooks, murderers and thieves.

I have donated 170,000 rupees for relief efforts. How much have you donated?

Criticizing an politician or the present government doesn't mean promoting another politician or any past government, and I didn't intend to do the latter. But I do feel it's necessary to point out when the people who are supposed to act on common man's best interests behave like greedy pigs, especially in a dire situation like this.

I'm not the type who take selfies when aiding a fellow human in need and post them on social media to show-off how humane and how generous I am so I'm not going to answer your question, sorry.

What are you talking about selfies? I don't even use a mobile phone. If you choose to not to answer, that is your choice. All politicians are same. Unless you born yesterday, you should need talking about politicians is POINTLESS.

Evidently I don't share your opinion so let's leave it at that without taking this thread off-topic.
