Some people say it's a myth but I saw a video about dopamine fasting done by a medical student. But he accepted dopamine fasting. It's my two cents. What do you know?

    wtf is this

    It's called dopamine detox.
Have to avoid doing activities such as eating chocolates, enjoying social media to limit secretion of dopamine. Then dopamine receptors will be normal.
i dont think this is going to work, unless you are addicted to something,
people get addicted to anything like drugs, sex, porn, alcohol as that is the only thing that make their dopamine secreted.
so it was wise versa to what we were learned ten years ago
you have to train your body to be happy other than the thins you are addicted

usually a drug addict do not secrete dopamine what ever they do but the drug. so it is not receptor down regulation or up regulation, it is just dopamine doesnt come out. :(

Dopamine deficiency can have a significant impact on a person’s quality of life, affecting them both physically and mentally. Many mental health disorders are linked to low levels of dopamine. Other medical conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, have also been linked to low dopamine.

There is limited evidence that diet and lifestyle can affect the levels of dopamine a person creates and transmits in their body. Certain medications and some therapies may help relieve symptoms, but a person should always speak to a doctor first if they are concerned about their dopamine levels.
