You're walking alone in the rain. It has beat you down for the majority of your life. You walk and walk trying to find an escape. Your clothes are ripped and you're soaking wet. You shiver and feel cold. You wonder when will it end. But all you can do is look down at your muddy feet and hear the thunder surrounding you. You've been alone struggling for so long. There's no sunlight, no birds singing. Just a long depressing forest of agony. You feel your tears slowly running down your cheek even though it's raining. You feel your heart slowly crumbling into pieces. But yet you keep on walking until you have reached a dark and long cave. You can no longer hear the rain. Your footsteps make an echo and you can finally hear your breathing. You wipe your tears and find peace that the rain is no longer beating on you. The cave is so big that you can hear the raindrops on your clothes slowly falling onto the ground. You try to dry off as much as you can while you continue to walk. You finally manage to smile and be glad for escaping the storm you were trapped in. Even though you're still alone you continue to walk because you have faith that at the end of every tunnel there's sunlight. Your feet hurt from walking too much but you know it's all worth it in the end. You never give up. Your feet have bruises and begin to bleed but you tell yourself "it's ok, I know I'm almost there I'm strong and I can do it". And you were right. From a distance you can see a little gleam of sunlight. You start to pick up the pace more quickly than before. You run and run trying to reach that little happiness that you once lost. You desperately run towards the end of the cave.The moment you step out your heart stops. You can see a river flowing. You can see the sunlight for the first time. You can finally hear the birds singing. Not that far you see a small boat and you hop in and letting the water from the waterfall bathe your body. You let the source of what once hurt you encircle you once again. You face your most dreadful fear and let yourself soak into the beautiful waterfall. The boat keeps on moving. The river is filled with giant water lilies. The scene is so beautiful that your heart cannot take it all in. The water sparkles so beautifully and reflects onto your skin. The air has become misty and so beautifully dreamy. You reach out towards the water and giggle. You playfully push the petals on the water and smile. You wish to stay in this paradise forever. Your dream has finally come true. You made it through that hardest and discovered a world filled with peace and beauty. You cannot stop smiling and admiring the beauty. You begin to cry not because you're sad but because your heart has never seen such a wonderland. You reach out and touch the vines to see if this experience is real. But you only smile even more when you can feel it in your hands. Your emotions get hyped and suddenly feel an extreme happiness. Your heart can't take so much beauty that you soon being to sing. You sing the most beautiful melody to let the world know you're alive. You let your heart take over your voice as it surrounds the place so beautifully. It echoes through the paradise and attracts the singing of the birds. Your soul is once again healed. You have found that one little happiness again and let go of the fear within you. You can finally live free and forget the things that hurt you. You've found your place that gives you freedom and security. You have found...a home.
