The AC system is not the your typical AC that you have at home. It maintains a laminar flow filters bacteria and gersms (HEPA filters) and removes anaesthetic gases from the theater.
Also it gets very hot when you are scrub ed up and standing under theater lights.
So the AC is a must not a luxury and I work in a theater almost every day .
When the AC system breaks down or fails it is very difficult to stay inside the theater as it is sealed and inevitable lyrics all the surgery s get infected
