ශ්රී ලාංකිකයන්ගේ දැනුම සහ අගතිගාමී වීම ගැන කනගාටු වෙමි. මෙහි කමෙන්ට් කර ඇති කිසිවෙකුත් මෙහෙදී අනුගමනය කල යුතු ක්රියාපටිපාටිය ගැන නොදැන තමන්ගේ හිතලුවක් ප්රකාශ කිරීම විහිළුවකි. වෛද්ය වාර්තාවේ ඇත්තේ වෛද්යවරිය පරීක්ෂා කරන අවස්ථාවේ මද්යසාර ගඳ වහනය නිරීක්ෂණය කල නොහැකි වූ බව මිස ඇය මද්යසාර පානය කර නොමැති බවට සහතික කිරීමක් නොවේ. එය හුදෙක් එම අවස්ථාවේ ඇයව පරික්ෂා කල වෛද්යවරයාගේ නිගමනයක් පමණි. එම වාක්යයෙන් ඇය මද්යසාර භාවිතයෙන් මත් වී නොසිටියැයි හැගවෙන්නේ නැත. එය තහවුරු කිරීමටනම් රුධිර පරීක්ෂාවක් කල යුතුවේ. එයද කරනු ලබන්නේ රෝහලේදී නොව රජයේ රස පරීක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමෙන්තුවේදීය. එම රුධිර සාම්පලය රැගෙන යන්නේද පොලිසිය විසින් මිස රෝහල් කාර්යමණ්ඩලය විසින් නොවේ. එම වාර්තාවන්ට අත පෙවීමට වෛද්යවරයෙකුට නොහැකිය. අධිකරණය පිළිගන්නේ එම වාර්තාව පමණකි.
කුමන තර්ක ගෙන ආවත් මිනීමරුවෙකු මිනිමරුවෙකුම පමණකි. තරාතිරම යනු හුදෙක් ලේබලයක් පමණි. නීතියට එය වලංගු විය යුතු නැත.
වෛද්යවරුන් සමග ඔබේ කෝන්තරය ඔබ දිගටම ගෙනගියාට වෛද්යවරුන්ට අබමල් රේණුවක් තරම්වත් එය දැනෙන්නේ නැති බව අත්දැකීමෙන්ම මම දන්නවා. නමුත් බුරුවෙක් වගේ හඬ ලෑමට පෙර යමක් හෝ දෙකක් දැනගෙන කතා කරන්නේ නම් මේ රට අද මෙතනින් ගව් ගානක් ඉහලට ගොසිනි.
OK. It is really pathetic to see the level of knowledge of Sri Lankans and how prejudiced we are. No one really knows the procedure here and I find it hilarious when someone comments nothing but their own fantasy here. The medical report says that the alcohol smell was not present AT THE TIME of the examination of the consultant. That DOES NOT mean that she was not under the influence of alcohol. To medically prove that someone is under the influence of alcohol or not, it is recommended to do a blood alcohol test. That is done by the Government Analyst's Department. That blood sample will be taken to the Government Analyst’s by the Police and no medical personnel is allowed to handle that. It is beyond the capabilities of a doctor to interfere with those reports. That report will be the only report the courts of law will ultimately consider when it comes to a trial. A murderer is a murderer no matter what logic is applied or not. Profession should merely be a label someone carries. It must not be a privilege to be immune to the law of the country.
Finally, you can hold you grudges against doctors. That's fine. By my own experience I know that the doctors will hardly notice it. But know a fact or two before you whine like a donkey, to make a better country. (Yes, yes I am doctor. I am in debt to you for all the tax money paid which my parents could not pay in return for you)
