machan, space, gravity and time are very interesting fields in physics. I watched a documentary on discovery channel and learned that there are such things around us, which are considerably traveling through time to the future such as satellites, traveling around earth.

time is like river. some places it goes fast and in other places it goes slowly. near huge masses time travel fast and when you go away time goes slow. that's why in satellites, time goes too slow. take gps sat nav system for example. there is a very precise clock inside each of 24 sats. on these clocks time goes slower that on earth. so before launch these sats engineers made clocks go slower so when in space there would be no time gap.
