Creating a tab by using raspberry pie would be not a good idea with the default raspberry pie board because its thicker. Board has ethernet,S-Video sockets and so its way thicker to be on a tab. and the price of the model B which is the least powerful one is $25. its not suitable for a modern day tab. You will have to go with atleast the $35 model. And the cost of shipping and tax included it will be atleast $40 ( if you import in large quantity with agreements if not price will be higher than that). Also like I told it will be funny to build a tab using default raspberry models.
It will be impossible to but stripped down boards (the ports and stuff ). But if you order in very large quantity its possible. But it will cost you like $50 for every single custom built board. And to add up ports it will be even more.
And other problem is raspberry pie runs off from a SD card. To put in very fast class 10+ cards it will cost you like $40 per 16GB high quality card.
And you need battery and charging system. For that you will need to spend atleast $50 if you dont have your own manufacturing process. If you buy stuff in 100000s it wont be a problem to build this stuff custom but its not the case on this.
And you need a display. 1080P 10.1 inch display will cost you $50+ if you buy in small quantity. And then you cant just plug HDMI to the display you need a driver board.
And then you need to have some basic connectivity like wifi , bluetooth it will cost maybe $30 for custom components in small quantity.
And then comes the case. You need to have better quality stuff there. For that if we exclude pre-cost if will take atleast $20 per case.
Noot a good idea bro! You can buy this kind of small power tabs on ebay for like $60 now.

The better idea would be using OEMs in korea and china and trying to get most out from them for your own brand
