Oyata wayasa kiyada mcn?මීට හරියටම අවුරුද්දකට කලින් මම ලසික් එක කලා මචන් ඇස් දෙකටම. නවලෝක Lasik Center එකෙන්. 2.30ක් වගේ වියදම් උනා. ඊට පස්සේ මාස 6ක් වගේ යනකන් බෙහෙත් (eye drops) දාන්න තියනවා. මාසෙන්, මාස 3න්, මස 6න්, අවුරුද්දෙන් ගිහින් පෙන්නන්න ඕන. දැන් පේනවා බිත්ති හරහාත්. එච්චර කල් මුකුත් පෙනිලා නෑ කියල තේරෙන්නේ surgery එක කලාම.
අපේ ඔෆිස් එකේ කෙනෙක් කලා ගිය මාසේ. රු 390,000 ගියා කිව්වා . ලංකා හොස්පිටල්. ඩොක්ටර් නන්ද කුමාර් .
Dr Morris Waxler, a retired FDA adviser who voted to approve Lasik in the 1990s, is now one of its biggest critics. He says he regrets his role in bringing the procedure to the public.
According to his own analysis of industry data, the complication rate of Lasik falls between 10% and 30%. Last year, the FDA released draft guidance telling doctors that prospective patients should be warned they might be left with double vision, dry eyes, difficulty driving at night, and persistent eye pain.
In one clinical trial from 2017, the FDA found that nearly half of participants reported experiencing “new visual symptoms” after undergoing surgery. Those effects can show up as the presence of glare, halos, or starbursts, especially at night

Danuth ubata penawada computer use karanawadaI was short-sighted and did a Lasik way back in 2018 at Nawaloka Lasik Center. My Doctor was Dr.Charith Fonseka
Before the "surgery" there are a number of tests, to see whether you are a candidate for the surgery. If you are not, there are other treatments/surgeries that you must undergo to be a candidate.
The surgery itself, won't take more than 10 minutes. You won't feel anything after that, but once the anesthetics wears off, you'll feel an unimaginable pain in your eyes, like they are burning within. This will last for 1-3 days. They'll apply something called bandage-lenses to the eyes till the cut gets healed. So you'll get a nagging feeling all the time, like there's something in your eyes. They'll remove it after 2 weeks.
For the next two weeks, you won't be able to look at any light. So, make sure to prepare a dark place to stay (and bunch of audio books). A room with double layer curtains should do the trick. You'll get eye drops and Prednisolone drops for 3 months and 2 weeks respectively. For the next 6 months, you need to be careful with your eyes, and need to avoid dust and chlorine water (swimming pools) and so on.
You have Doctor's visits in 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years and 3 years. Some got their vision restored in couple of months. For some it took 6-12 months. I got my 6/6 in about 3 months.

The surgery effects are permanent, so you'll have the perfect vision till you eventually get Presbyopia (40s Andiriya). It'll take 3-9 months for you to have the 6/6 vision. I got it around 3-4 months, but I know some folks who had to wait 6-8 months
Network Engineering has nothing to do with your vision unless you want to operate in air/spacecraft
Post Surgery - It'll take 4-6 weeks for you to be fully comfortable with direct sunlight and dust. Till then it's advised to stay indoors (for the first few days avoiding any light whatsoever). So if you are still learning / have lectures, schedule the surgery in a vacation

I work with computers for 10-12 hours per day. I use Blue-Light cut glasses, but that has nothing to do with the surgery. You'll be fine without them
LASIK should cure Myopia and is generally a permanent cure for it. Well, unless you have a (usually genetically) issue with ciliary muscles (muscle in the eye responsible for adjusting the shape of the lens)
If I can give you an advice, consult an eye surgeon (I recommend Dr. Charith Fonseka, but it's up to you) and they'll be able to assess your case and give you all the right answers.

all are failed because eye case 6/ 24 , got contact lenses from vision care but it got 6/18 correction , now I haven't any job , I'm to go odd job so garment , I hope to get networking digres to 30 years I m think about i have a agismatism
