Whether or not you need to bleed brakes when changing pads depends on your method for changing the brake pads. Bleeding the brakes is unnecessary while changing the brake pads unless you expose the brake fluid to air.
If you change the brake pads without opening the brake line or the brake fluid reservoir, then there is no way for air to get inside the reservoir or the brake line, and you don’t need to bleed the brakes.

I have done this more than hundred of times under supervision and usually there is always another one looking at the opened reservoir checking if fluid levels overflowing, draining and refilling with an semi automated system on the go because we don't need reservoir to empty out sucking ....

If there is enough fluid, leaving the lid open is not a problem. If the piston is pushed in too far, the fluid will leak out. If you bleed, you have to fill the gap.
also note. this cap is not air tight, it has to be semi air tight.

Yes bung you dont need to bleed unless theres air enters into the system while your doing a brake job.. agents might do it just for the sake of it i guess..

Also next tool im eying is Brake bleeder kit.. so you dont have to rely on 2 people to bleed the brakes..
