Korean Restaurants serve it. Both Sake and Soju are made from rice but Soju goes through a distillation process.
The Japanese distilled version is called Shochu.
The Japanese make nice Whiskeys too, including Single Malts - eg Yamazaki, Suntory, Hakushu etc
