Good thread. I currently have a MacBook Pro. But I'm still interested in building up a hackintosh because of their upgradability. Do you think we can use App Store and all other features on a hackintosh? Can we build apps using Xcode and submit to App Store?

Yeah there's no problem except the FacetTime issue. I've used the xCode terminal and it works like charm, Haven't submitted any apps to app store other than downloading them, so I have no idea about that. Hope that helps.
