    1. B card
    2. Service Letter (Experience letter) - clearly mention the from and to dates, experiences, tech stack
    3. Resignation acceptance letter or an email.
    4. ask for your grativity, if worked more than 5 years and employee count is more than 15
There is no such a thing as resignation acceptance letter. Resignation is a notice, not a request. People are not slaves, to get resignation acceptance or rejection.

    තව දෙයක් තියනවා ගොඩක් අයට miss වෙන. අපි resignation date එක දෙද්දී දෙන්නේ last working date and resignation date කියලා දෙකක්. Last working date එකෙන් පස්සෙ ඉතුරු personal and annual leave ටික දාල එන දවස තමයී resignation date එක.

Extra 1 month salary.

    Congratulations on your new job!:-)

This checklist offers a solid foundation for ensuring a smooth resignation process.

    • EPF/ETF/TAX related documents: Claim ETF at this point; obtain the ETF claim application form upon resignation. For EPF, secure Form H if eligible for withdrawal (e.g., for retirement, migration, or other qualifying reasons; note that general resignation may require meeting criteria like a two-year waiting period). Request all tax-related documents, such as income tax certificates or withholding statements.
    • Service letter: Ensure it is in an acceptable format for future migration, including details of employment duration, role, and performance if applicable.
    • Gratuity: If mentioned in your employment contract, confirm eligibility under statutory laws (e.g., requiring at least five years of service, calculated as half a month's salary per year completed); ensure payment is processed and documented.
    • Resignation notice: Submit as per the employment agreement; obtain a certified copy from HR for your records.
    • Return company property: Hand over items such as security cards, laptops, or other equipment; retain proof of return, such as a signed acknowledgment or receipt.
    • Final salary and outstanding payments: Request a detailed final payslip covering accrued leave pay, bonuses, overtime, or reimbursements; verify all dues are settled.
    • Handover of responsibilities: Prepare and document the transfer of duties, projects, or knowledge to successors, including any required reports or training.
    • Exit interview or clearance: Complete any offered exit interview and obtain formal clearance from departments like IT, finance, and administration.
    • References or recommendation letters: If the resignation is amicable, request letters of recommendation or professional references from supervisors.
    • Update contact information: Provide HR with updated personal details for future correspondence, such as tax forms or benefit notifications.
    • Review of restrictive clauses: Examine the employment contract for ongoing obligations, such as non-compete or non-disclosure agreements.
