BIT Or BCS

Machan, the very important thing is BIT is a Degree & BCS not a degree.
And BIT offering world recognized University (University of Colombo) and BCS is Professional body under the UK charter.

But machan, BCS walata yanne 2 years. BIT walata 3 years yanawa. Coz it is a Degree Programme.

Under BIT,
If you successfully completed @ the first year you will be offered Diploma in IT
If you successfully completed @ the Second year you will be offered Higher Diploma in IT
If you successfully completed @ the Third year you will be offered Bachelor of Information Technology.

Thanks for feeling sad for me Flyboy. Anyway I am not going to trouble Dayan sir for such a things. He has many things to do other than worrying about babyish aathals !
I see you people are determined to be against esoft. I don't know y? bt you are always after rubbish than facts. You are intentionally remain blind for facts.
Anyway if there is anyone who really want to choose an institute can come and find.

This thread is a sole evidence for that. All against one just because they are unable to give a real competition. I kept on posting thinking that two of you really need to sort it out. But I am not sure about it now. OK, By the language used and the way the thread went people will understand the truth.

2) Dayan

Mathana edan PACHA palanna nathuwa wadak kara ganna.. . Student kenak nam ochchara visthara danna kohomada? Aka Grade 1 enna podi 1k ta unath therenawa.. .

Broo.. U did Diploma level and joind the greenwich univ?? How??

There are several colleges in UK which offer BSc(Hons) final year..
Eg: Ethames graduate school
Blake hall college
West london college

with BCS diploma u can directly enter the final year,, there are agents of those colleges here in Colombo.(refer to Sunday observer Ads)
Final year costs you around 9-10 Lakhs,,(5000 pounds) but after completed the degree u can apply for 2 year post study work visa.. which means you can cover the cost of degree and save some considerable amount of money(around 30 lakhs) ..
Im living with friends so costs can be minimized .and earning doing part time..

Ms. Ganga Sucks a Big time guyz.. don't select her for any subjects.. she'z doing IS,DBMS, and ITPM.... most of the students can't understand anything....

Anyway Dr. Dayan, Mr.Nishan, Mr. Rehan are superb what ever the subjects they teach..I guarantee that..

Anyway E-soft is the best...

There's no value of BIT in IT industry. Specially in overseas. BCS is widely accepted.
Private companies are looking for people who can work. Not people who has certificates.

Guys do BCS Diploma(1 year) and enter the final year(1 year) of any IT degree.. Finally u'll have 2 qualifications IT degree+ MBCS.. the better recognition...

You may talk about best places to study BCS or BIT. But don't try to insult any institution. If you are having any bad experience with them just contact them privately or post here in a proper way.
