1. U can only work 24hours max on a week. If you try doing more, they might issue you a warning and even deport you.. (It did happen to few of my indian friends)

2. Legally you come to Canada for studies only.. LEGALLY you are supposed to leave canada after your school is done.. (but yes 98% students do apply for work pemit and settle here... You have that option. )

3. DO NOT TRY ANYTHING ILLEGAL or Easy hacks.. You will get deported.. You need to realize its your hard earned lankan money thats going.. Unlike some spoiled chinese or indian kids you arent Rich. You dont want to waste time on courts and you dont want anything in your records.



Now about your topic,

Well even as a canadian,
Things you can bring and selll here are very limited and restricted.



Right now my best advice for you is,study well, work 24max a week, apply for Co op or internship if your uni or college has it and wait until you get Work permit or Pr..

I am in Waterloo and I hate this place, about 50% of the population here are Germans and they are bloody racists. Public transport sucks here.



I am planing to move out from this area during the summer.
According to my view, best places for immigrants in Canada are GTA, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough and Ottawa in ON.

Once my parents used to live in Guelph (Near Waterloo) and i hated that area.

Now we are in Scarborough. I think for us its the best.. Its like you know living in Kottawa, Maharagama in Lanka. You are not in main Colombo City but you have easy access to Colombo and get lots of things that colombo offers.. Scarborough is a part of Toronto so it feels like you are Downtown, but less expensive and has access to lankan stuff and City Life.



Me and my family has never experienced a racist problem in Toronto for this past 8-10 years

Thank for your valuable advice. So I decided to look after my studies only doing without 20hr/wk part-time. In this London area, part-time opportunities are very hard to get. What shall I do? will that work if I travel somewhere near to do a Job bcs I am free on Thursday and Friday??
