Program admission requirements may exceed those of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Meeting the admission requirements does not necessarily mean admission into the program.
Admission is recommended for students providing evidence of thorough preparation and outstanding ability and who have a confirmed research supervisor.
Students are encouraged to apply early as most positions for new graduate students are filled before the advertised Faculty deadlines. On line Applications - Apply On Line
Students are responsible for ensuring that their application and supporting documents are received by the Graduate Programs Coordination office well before the application deadlines as considerable time may be required to complete the evaluation process.
Note: International students requiring Student Authorization to enter Canada should submit their applications at least six months before the proposed date of admission to avoid delays in visa processing. Please check the Faculty of Graduate Studies web site for more information.
The application fee is non-refundable.
In many instances students pursuing research-based degrees are encouraged to commence their programs in May so that they can initiate their research program before course work commences in September.
