I'm putting this message again as i did not receive any satisfactory comment. four days should be added to the days mentioned. I went to check at the pannipitiya post office. They did not have any parcels or letters, I even checked their parcel receiving log books. Nothing.
I'm going next week to the central mail exchange, foreign branch. As I'm receiving local letters and not foreign letters or parcels, I'm assuming that something has gone wrong in the central mail exchange. There's a glitch needs to be fixed hoping i could find it, otherwise i won't receive any mail from abroad (including non-ebay letters).
At the mean time, i would call some of my friends to send me some letters to check whether what went wrong, as a test. This is the current scenario:
Ebay parcel posted 46 days ago (obviously lost)
A letter from a friend in Seattle, USA (not ebay) 26 days (probably lost)
Ebay parcels from China, hongkong (delayed than usual, not received yet)
--- 20 days x1
--- 18 days x 2
--- 14 days x 1
I have received about 20 items before this December, with all of them arriving within the correct date (100 %) . After December it's 0%. You guys know that it's very unlikely for all of those parcels not to receive, when before December I received all of them. This is a loss of around LKR 3000.
Please tell me what to do. Thanks for reading. If I cannot find where the problem is, I have to quit not just e-bay, but applying for foreign universities as well.
