Its hard to tell, but I've realized getting down stuff from China tends to reach you hassle-free; the reason being Chinese sellers understate the value of the product contained within the parcel and often mark it as a Gift/Damaged good/ Spare parts, in which case Customs are not allowed to examine it and tax you. My guess is as good as yours.

What I have also noticed is that reputed sellers would normally be notified by their previous customers if in case their items were held up at customs or were unfairly taxed, in which case the seller makes a note of this in his/her listing to give a disclaimer indemnifying him/herself of any liabilities beyond the point of shipping. Do look out for any statements of the sort, if you do see something like that in the listing you may be looking at a product that may put you through some tax issues.
