i can.t understand, why does it identify as primary slave hard disk:confused:
Because your Hard Disk is the Primary Master device.
You cannot have 2 Master devices on the same channel.

    can u explain it.
Your CMOS has settings for the SATA controller. This is different from Motherboard to Motherboard. You have to set the settings that is most compatible with the dvdrw drive.

Also in you have to install the SATA drivers in windows so that the SATA controller is identified and controlled properly by Windows.

bro it should be sata DvdRW no?

How windows idetifies it is dependent on how the CMOS shows it to windows. Looks like what you got is a CMOS misconfiguration in the SATA controller settings.

I've no idea about that board or its settings. Better you get a person who knows about this board and SATA to configure it for you.
