Children age 11 and under are also prone to suffer from constipation symptoms. This is often linked to stool withholding typically done by children who wish to avoid the bowel movement practice at school or elsewhere other than their house; those who do not want their playtime to get interrupted or those who fear unpleasant and painful bowel movement.
The usual stools discharged by these children are hard, dry, difficult and very painful to pass. If not properly taken cared of this may lead to long-term consequences like diminished quality of life of children that will be manifested in their social relationships.
C S in children include painful and difficult bowel movements, stool in the underwear of your child, fewer bowel movements, standing on tiptoes and frequent rocking back on the heels just to withhold stool movement, and abdominal pain and cramping. If parents notice that their child have experienced Constipation Symptoms for more than two weeks then it is a warning sign that something wrong is happening within the body of your child. Do not waste for the occurrence of fever, vomiting, weight loss, blood in the stool, swollen abdomen and painful cracks on the skin of your child to appear before you report this matter to his or her podiatrist. At times, these toddlers become too playful that they find it inconvenient to halt playtime in exchange of waste disposal time. As a result, this may lead to rare bowel movement that is difficult to pass. Nevertheless, if the toddlers are trained on how important bowel movement is then they can easily put priority to it the moment their body dictates of it.
    Constipation Symptoms in Women

Women often experience constipation problems during and immediately after pregnancy. One of the main reasons behind this is the uncomfortable feeling pregnant mothers experience when discarding of their waste. Others also have increased progesterone level in the body while others become more stressful and anxious because of their expected delivery.

If left untreated, this may lead to the development of hemorrhoids, fecal impaction and lazy bowel syndrome.
    Prevention of Constipation Symptoms

To help prevent the occurrence of these constipation symptoms, individuals should drink plenty of water and eat foods rich in fiber. It will also benefit it they will have regular exercise and refrain from eating too much dairy products.
    Treatment for Constipation Symptoms

Constipation symptoms generally respond to dietary and life style changes and to mild laxatives. Dietary changes consist of adding fiber rich food and more water in daily diet regimen. What is Anal Fistula?

Anal Fistula is a condition wherein the infected cavity of the anal becomes filled with pus. Thus small glands of the anus becomes clogged which results to the formation of small tunnel under the skin. This is triggered by an acute infection of the small gland inside the anus caused by foreign matter and bacteria which trickily entered the gland of the anus.
    Causes of Anal Fistula?

Aside from anal abscess formation, infections like tuberculosis, gonorrhea, diverticulitis, Crohn’s disese, ulceratitive colitis and cancer of the large intestine will also result to anal fistula. The spread of bacterial infection is easier with these complications since the immune system of the individual is less functional.
    Anal Fistula Symptoms

The most prominent symptom of anal fistula is the recurrent appearance of small or large boils or abscesses surrounding the anus coupled by painful discomfort every time stool is discharged. At times, it is also excretion of feces is also accompanied by pus or blood discharges. Moreover, the pus may subsequently heal after it erupts but in a few days you will notice it appearing on the surrounding area of your anus again.

In cases like this, never think twice but inform your physician about your condition before it leads to more serious complications.

    Anal Fistula Treatment

The straightforward treatment for anal fistula is anal fistula surgery. This is a must in order to avoid potential complications from occurring. It is a complicated surgical procedure which requires the skills of an excellent colon and rectal surgeon.
Anal fistula surgery procedure involves opening the fistula tunnel for it will require the removal of the anal sphincter, the muscle which controls bowel movement. The external and internal opening will then be grooved before it can be allowed to heal from the inside out. Although it can be performed on an outpatient basis, it is still best if it can be done inside the hospital coupled by a short hospital stay so your surgeon and physician can see to it that no abnormality will ever occur after the surgery.
Typically, the patient has to endure the mild to moderate pain during the entire first week after the surgery but this can be controlled through the use of pain pills. So anyone who wishes to proceed with this kind of treatment need not worry much about the time they will lose from work or from school. At home, patients should regularly soak themselves in warm water or sit bath for about three to four times in a day since this will help assure reduced bacterial infection. Physicians will also recommend taking stool softeners or bulk fiber laxative so as not to put too much pressure on the anal and rectum. Rest assured that bowel movements will not be a hindrance in the healing process.
    Anal Fistula Prevention

The best way to prevent anal fistula is to prevent the occurrence of anal abscess because 50% of cases involving anal fistula is a result of complications and occurrence of anal abscess. For this to be done you may take note of the following recommendations
    Regular Bowel Movement

See to it that you can maintain a regular bowel movement. This can be done if you will drink plenty of water and eat foods that are rich in fiber. Refrain from eating red meat and instead buy more fruits and vegetables. If you notice that there is any regularity in your bowel movement like frequent constipation then do not hesitate to inform your doctor about it. He or she may start recommending a fiber supplements that will assist you in your regular bowel movement.
    Clean and Healthy Diet

You are what you eat. Most of the illnesses and diseases that inflict man come from wrong choice of food. The key to this is to educate your self with the proper combination of food and discretion of food items that will give you a better digestion. Moreover, you shouldn’t eat foods just from anywhere because infected foods will lead to diarrhea which reduces the immune system level of your excretory system.

What is First Trimester Vaginal Bleeding?

First Trimester refers to the first three months of pregnancy. The entire nine-month period of pregnancy is divided into three trimesters or three stages of pregnancy. That makes each trimester a three month period.
Vaginal bleeding during First Trimester of pregnancy is known as First Trimester Vaginal Bleeding. Vaginal bleeding is common in the early stages of pregnancy. It gives rise to complications in 20 to 30% of all cases of pregnancy. Around 10% women are said to suffer from vaginal bleeding in

    First Trimester During Pregnancy.

Vaginal Bleeding can occur at any time during pregnancy. Approximately, one in every three women experience bleeding in the period of their pregnancy. However, bleeding is most likely to occur within the first three months of pregnancy.
    Vaginal Bleeding First Trimester Symptoms

Vaginal bleeding in First Trimester generally comes with only one major symptom, bleeding through vagina. This is generally characterized by blood coming out of the vagina, the lower part of the female reproductive tract. The bleeding may vary from mild to severe. Severe bleeding usually comes with clots.
    Vaginal Bleeding First Trimester Causes

Some of the factors believed to be the reasons behind this condition are
    Miscarriage

Bleeding through the vagina is not one of the surest signs of miscarriage as many like to think. Thankfully, miscarriages in First Trimester bleeding cases are not very common. About half of all women suffering from the condition never have a miscarriage or any complicated pregnancy condition. However vaginal bleeding may indicate miscarriage in some cases, even though it is not a sign of an impending one.
    Ectopic Pregnancy

Bleeding may occur as a result of this complicated condition in which the embryo grafts itself outside the uterus. In such cases, the embryo is generally found implanted in a fallopian tube. It may complicate the pregnancy and in certain cases, even cause life risks. It is usually accompanied with paining or cramping during First Trimester in the abdomen.
    Intercourse

Having sex also results in this complication. During pregnancy, more amount of blood flows to the cervix. The cervix suffers a trauma while you are having an intercourse. A trauma during pregnancy can lead to spotting, or light bleeding. If you are having intercourse during First Trimester pregnancy may get complicated. So take care!
    Placenta Previa

Bleeding may also happen if the person is suffering from this condition, marked by an abnormal location of the placenta over the cervix or anywhere close to it.
    Cervical Polyp

A cervical polyp is a common benign growth on the surface of the cervical canal. It is not recurrent like a tumor or polyp but can lead to abnormal menstrual bleeding or spotting after having an intercourse.
    Fertilized Egg Implantation

Bleeding may also occur at the start of the first trimester if the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterus wall. This usually happens within the first two weeks of egg fertilization.
    Pap Smear Test

Some women also experience bleeding after undergoing an internal physical examination like a Pap Smear Test.
    Infections

Sometimes, a sexually transmitted infection or a vaginal infection can cause an irritation or swelling in the cervix. The swollen up cervix may lead to spotting during First Trimester after a Pap Smear Test or an intercourse.
    Abnormality in the Placenta

First-trimester bleeding can also happen due to some complicated condition in the placenta.
    First Trimester Bleeding Prognosis

Recent researches show that bleeding during the first three months of pregnancy can aggravate risks of delivery in some cases. As aforementioned, it can even be a sign of Ectopic pregnancy which may give rise to risks in pregnancy and even be life-threatening.
    First Trimester Bleeding Diagnosis

Diagnosis of the condition is usually carried out with the help of physical tests. Medical examinations like blood tests, Pregnancy ultrasound and Lab tests are conducted to ascertain the cause of bleeding. The medical history of the patient is taken into account. The physician may also ask you about any recent intercourse you had and other information such as the duration and color of bleeding. The factors which lead to bleeding or stop it are also observed or asked about.
First Trimester Vaginal Bleed – Treatment and Management

Mild bleeding usually stops naturally and needs no treatment. If that does not happen, the condition may be a result of some cause that needs immediate treatment. Women with negative blood groups like A- or O- should ideally visit the doctor within three days.
The treatment usually varies with the condition that is behind the bleeding. In case of an infection, doctors may prescribe antibiotic medicines that are safe for the health of the unborn baby.
If bleeding results due to a case of Placenta Previa, bed rest is usually recommended to the patient.
An Ectopic Pregnancy case is a serious one and needs to be surgically treated. The growing embryo requires to be surgically removed to stop bleeding.
As aforesaid, First Trimester is often counted as one of the miscarriage symptoms. If the bleeding is indeed a sign of miscarriage, the blood loss is compensated with transfusions. First Trimester miscarriage cases are dealt with much care.
First Trimester Bleeding is not a sure sign of any major disease. However, the health of a pregnant woman should not be compromised in any circumstance. If there is a case of vaginal bleeding in your house, it is best to seek medical assistance as early as possible. Giving birth is an important part of a woman’s life and one should always take care that it remains a happy process.

why you should take a glass of Milk Everyday??
(waste 2 mins to read it)

what Milk gives to your Body : According to the National Dairy Council, milk is filled with nine essential nutrients that benefit our health:

Calcium: Builds healthy bones and teeth; maintains bone mass
Protein: Serves as a source of energy; builds/repairs muscle tissue
Potassium: Helps maintain a healthy blood pressure
Phosphorus: Helps strengthen bones and generate energy

Details of the benefits that milk gives :
    1. Bone health
Milk and dairy products are providers of calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and protein which are all essential for healthy bone growth and development.

    2. Teeth
The amounts of calcium and phosphorous in milk and dairy products are also beneficial for the development and maintenance of healthy teeth.

    3. Milk and blood pressure
An increasing number of studies suggest that consuming 3 portions of dairy each day, along with 5 portions of fruit and vegetables as part of a low salt diet can reduce high blood pressure in both adults and children.

Although the exact mechanisms involved are not clear, it is thought that the calcium, potassium, magnesium and proteins within milk are all likely to be involved.

    4. Milk and cardiovascular disease
Several studies have linked milk and dairy consumption with a reduced risk for cardiovascular disease.

A recent study in Welsh men found that those who drank the most milk had fewer heart attacks than those who had little or no milk in their diets.

    5. Obesity
Contrary to popular belief, research has shown that people who consume milk and dairy foods are likely to be slimmer than those who do not.

    6. Type 2 diabetes
Studies suggest that regular consumption of low fat dairy products can help to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, which has been a longstanding problem in adults, and is becoming increasingly common in children and adolescents.

In order to remain adequately hydrated, it is recommended that we consume 6-8 cups of fluid each day.

And a lot what is not cited above..

we'are talking about the Real honey :):p
Lets know some unknown facts n Health benefits of HONEY.

Honey has been used by mankind since the past 2,500 years, all over the world.

While the numerous health benefits of honey have made it an important aspect of traditional medicines such as Ayurveda, scientists are also researching the benefits of honey in modern medicine, especially in healing wounds.

What makes honey so popular? It is the ease with which it can be consumed. One can eat honey directly, put it on bread like a jam, mix it with juice or any drink instead of sugar, or mix it with warm water, lime juice, cinnamon and other herbs to make a medicine. It is savored by all due to its taste as well as health benefits.

    1. Sweetener: Sugar can be substituted with honey in many food and drinks. Honey contains about 69% glucose and fructose enabling it to be used as a sweetener.

    2. Energy Source: According to USDA, honey contains about 64 calories per tablespoon. Hence honey is also used by many as a source of energy. On the other hand, one tablespoon of sugar will give you about 15 calories. Further the carbohydrates in the honey can be easily converted into glucose by even the most sensitive stomachs. Hence it is very easy to digest honey.

    3. Weight Loss: Though honey has more calories than sugar, honey when consumed with warm water helps in digesting the fat stored in your body. Similarly honey and lemon juice and honey and cinnamon help in reducing weight. Read more about benefits of honey in weight loss.

    4. Improving Athletic Performance: Recent research has shown that honey is an excellent ergogenic aid and helps in boosting the performance of athletes. Honey facilitates in maintaining blood sugar levels, muscle recuperation and glycogen restoration after a workout.
