    ඉතාලි වලින්ද ඕන  සිංහල රටේ සිංහලෙන් නේ උගන්නන්නේ :P

I have thought this problem will come out.

I have never studied in Srilanka and been abroad since I was 2.
I do understand sinhalese, but I have few problems to get some words and I believe it's quite understandble right?

I have seen many people who have had the possibility to study in Srilanka and they are advantaged about that, but being an expert about sinhala language does not make you a real srilankan.

Maybe they know about srilankan language ( thanks to their education ),but I have assumed that many who are currently in Srilanka do not know how to appreciate our culture, our traditions, our arts, our music and history.

So I am not ashamed of saying that my sinhala is still improving.
I am capable to read, but what's put on this thread is quite too complicated to be understood by a person who's had to the possibility to study sinhala at a sunday school and temple.
Don't you think? Just dont try to make fun of people jst because of their weaknesses :)

But it could be ur first step to stand as real Sri Lankan. Dont u think ? :)

Of course it's the 1st step, but I don't think that being an expert in sinhala language is enough for someone to tell you are a real srilankan.

Nevertheless, I am sorry if I have used a rude language. I was bit upset.

    Thanks for the help.

    Yes Sure

Yes there are are Sinhalese professors who are not so called "සිංහල" in actions
Maybe they know about srilankan language ( thanks to their education ),but I have assumed that many who are currently in Srilanka do not know how to appreciate our culture, our traditions, our arts, our music and history.
    agreed

very well. but this one of the aims of putting this thread is to facilitate Advance level science by bringing the concepts in a simplified manner where things that are difficult to understand .there the communication problem rises in which explanation in Sinhalese(mother tongue) is far more easier to express & convey our thoughts.
Don't you think? Just dont try to make fun of people jst because of their weaknesses :)
    I do not
