nope. In this thread, i have mentioned many times that there is no 100% fool proof system. Nothing is 100% perfect in life. But we keep the best system out of the lot.

well., in it's all fairness... i do really do get the rep system.. and have nothing against it actually.

it's a good method to keep the member return ratio high and as a motivational factor. .... and it has worked superbly. if you look at it in a marketing perspective, i think you have made quite a lot of money out of it as well. the site hits have basically gone off the roof eh GT ?

and no.. don't tell me that you still run it with your own money. if you are.. i am willing to buy it out of you outright and turn this into a money minting machine.

but.. if you look it this system in a "value for your time" factor.. total CRAP i must say. The value of content has incredibly reduced.

but then again.. it's all based on the standing values you have build this forum on. if your aim was to make money.. yeah.. you are making a kill on it. but if you had even the vague idea of social service and a gathering point of mutual interest that has any value what so ever.... dude., you failed miserably.

post counts wasn't even a system, people post it adds to their count that's how it works. only a couple retards tried to achieve high post counts, and people still do that I might have given you a couple of example if you could get the top posters list working

You admit that you don't understand the reputation system, i think you don't understand how a social site or community works and your definition for value of the content not applicable to others. I understand you are not interested on learning about them, just want to get highlighted on your free time.

Old days there were huge amount of chat threads and normal people who are new to the interned loved that system. It was giving elakiri high ranks on the charts and hit rates were higher so basically it will earn more money if you are interested on the financial factor.

But in the same time it will slow down the server and other content get no attention at all. We need all types of interest group in elakiri with lot of subjects not just a gathering point as you like it to be.

If my memory serves me right, i had seen chaps getting banned for posting pics of a nipslip... but now, we have full on bare nudity. In a site which in GT's own claims "a site that audience of all ages gather.. including Kids"

if the latter is your idea, then time to do damage control and go back into a contingency plan of forum wide ban on adult materials and etc which downgrades the core values of the forum.

There were a good system call "Member Of the Month" as far as i know it wasn't continued after the Blacka got the place.
wish admin can start it again, Not to be a Member of the Month but it was a 100% better system than Reputation System..
