netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled, and exit. If it works, upgrade your router firmware and type this in Command Prompt to switch autotuning back on;
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal.
4. If the error stems from the raspppoe.sys file, then a possible method of solution is to replace the raspppoe.sys file in Windows 7 with another one from Windows Vista. Though this method should probably be a last resort because changing a system file could be dangerous, it has worked on some computers and might work for you too. What you have to do is to open the folder
C\Windows\System32\Drivers and rename the original raspppoe.sys file to something like
raspppoe_a.sys. You then paste a Vista version of the file into your folder.
