Filezilla පාවිච්චි කරන අය කවුද ඉන්නේ?


ඔයාල FTP connect වෙනකොට encryption එක විදියට plain FTP එකද use කරන්නේ.


මම කනෙක්ට් වෙන්න හදනකොට "This server does not support FTp over TLS" කියල ඇවිත් plain FTP use කරන්නද අහනවා.


ඔයාල use කරන්නෙත් plain FTP?

The message simply says the Filezilla client (that you use) cannot use FTP over TLS and hence insecure.
You cannot do anything about it as it's the configuration of the server. Use plain FTP.

I understand machan, it's about insecurity. I just want to know It's normal for shared hosting or what?

Ftp server එක හදපු උන් තමයී less secure වෙන්න හදල තියෙන්නෙ. උඹ ssh වලින් files transfer කරපන් නැත්තන් Tls හදල දෙන්න කියපන් උන්ට

එහෙම නැත්තන් ඊලග පාර රනිල් ද ඡන්දෙ දෙන්න. Unp ආණ්ඩුවක් අවාම් ඔය සේරම හරි යනවා.

Not only the username and the password.. everything is insecure. FTP on it's own is not secure at all.

මම උන්ට කිව්වා. උන් මට කිව්වේ plain වලින් වන්න කියල. මම කිව්වම එක secure නැ කියල, එහෙනම් sftp use කරන්න කියල.


ssh සහ tls දෙකම එකක්ද මචං. නැත්නම් tls ssh වලට වැඩ හොඳද.


මචං ssh හදාගන්න හැටි කියපන්කෝ.

Do your server has TLS? Do shared servers haven't this feature?

Sorry.. I work in an Enterprise environment. Hosting is on owned server clusters. Do not depend or rely on external parties.

I think most shared hosting providers will support at least SFTP for sure.
