My personal opinion is not to go for corel draw. it's an outdated designing software. most of the softwares can't understand corel's special effects..drop shadows, lens etc. Try to learn Illustrator. it's easy and you can play with photoshop very easily......

I know, Any professional printer use corel since they get design files from corel and It's better to output those corel file in corel itself rather than dying to convert those corel effects like mash, gradients, dropshadows to any other software. but if you design mainly to web it's ok. but one point....it's easy to learn for a newbie but after few months, you are not a newbie anymore.......

Machan, mayura's logos are beautiful since he has got a creative mind. he use the software to create what's in his mind. software alone can't design nice logos for you, if you are creative you can create nice logos using any software. when you use a easy software you can create logos easily, it's simple like that.

drop shadow kathawa: FORGET it machan, don't get confuse. if you are going to design logos use whatever easy for you, corel gives problems when outputting for commercial printing not for designing.

im not saying is that illustrator is bad and cant do that and cant do this
bla bla bla

what im saying is corel is easy to work with


i have worked at a print place and we work with corel
corel is the best software for printing

and illustrator cant beat corel when it comes to printing
