SriLanka Map Androi App

Hey guys, why cant we just develop an android app? I can start dev one...can you give me some ideas? i.e what features, how should it look like etc.,

CityGuide Map Version 5.4 Released!!!

Online users: Please press

Menu>Options>Settings>Maps>Map Management>Download Maps & Select "SriLanka5.4".

Your map will download in background and it will automatically replace the old version.

Offline users , Please download new map from www.cityguidegps.com/slmap & replace the old map

If you look at the android market there are some free apps with quite useful features which will give lot of ideas

But why need to dev from scratch , may be could contribute and modify an existing open source app. Of course if u like to start dev one, I should not discourage u. I will wish u all the success

Most of these free apps use something like google maps or open street maps. Open street maps have less detail
If everyone who can, contributes map details to these free maps, we would have a better map for free too, and everyone would benefit
