    it works as a suction fan. pulls the heat from below the HDD and blows it away.
    For it it be effective, a casing fan should be mounted at the front just below the HDD as well so that it pulls out the hot air that the HDD fan sends out.

    2 issues.
    1. The two HDDs are close together so that they just heat out. Leave a gap in between them so that the air flows between them. I'm assuming that there is a fan fixed infront of the HDDs.

    2. The air from the power supply is pushed down right ? but the air from Processor fan is pushed up. This will make a disruption in the airflow.
    Better add another casing fan there so that all that hot air is sucked out at the back.

    Also see if it cools down better if you reverse the air flow at the front.
    It should cool the HDDs better if the front fan pulls the hot air out from the front.
