Well... Not exactly. I'm talking about Australia Which is a very multi cultural society.

Only the education is expensive than the locals. And we don't get any privileges from the government like the baby bonus (Money you get for your baby) and the govt support (when you dont have a job, govt pays you!)

Above is also just a matter of time.

After staying here for 2 yrs and after getting the PR, you get all the benefits.

And no, people don't treat you as 2nd class... in fact they treat you sometimes better than we were treated in Sri Lanka

Yes this is very much country dependent!

In Aussie the situation can be different and they can afford to give those privileges to everybody because in those countries the policy of getting in to the country for foreigners is strict.. so the foreign community has a higher percentage of knowledge workers too, which has a huge impact on country's economy!

And also the other factors often makes a lot of difference like what is the main language, for example I think in Aussie there shouldn't be any problem if you know English! Because everything works in English... even if you go to a govt. office there's no need to worry you can always talk things out! Unlike other countries, but if this is not the case then you'll get into difficulties more often!!!

And the population of your own often plays a part too... since there are a hell of a lot of Sri Lankans in Aussie govt. cannot simply ignore because when numbers grow you are valued for your market

And Muslim countries are naturally strict! (I'll just stop from there )

However I don't mean ppl that you are talking about.
I mean about some ppl who earn a little.

Many countries have planed to change minds of ppl from other countries and make them spend too much money in that country. As a example, I have seen many ppl who went to middle-east countries, earn hardly coz they are not educated. But before they come again, buy what they don't need. They doing so coz they want to show their power and always despise sri lanka and sri lankan culture. However when they come to sri lanka, nothing brought except a huge stuff of toys, TVs (flat panel) , tins of milk powder and many more. After they came, keep buying what they don't need. Within 4 months, money would be over. Then they gotta work in another country. Why they can't deposit money or complete their house?
I don't target everyone in middle-east, I mean some ppl !
