Sri Lanka as a geographical location is as good as it gets though. Not so happy about the other aspects though.

most countries are good including lanka

but the reality in lanka is that the economic situation is very bad

more & more lankan's want to go abroad

some lankans are still trying to go abroad by boat(final destinations Australia/Italy ?)


i know a zimbabwean guy who left his country because of the mess in Zimbabwe

he came here few months ago

he loves zimbabwe but how can he live in a fu**ed up country

he told me he is lucky because he left zimbabwe some years ago & got into france where he worked out the paperwork

no need to play hide & seek with the authorities like some zimbabweans these days

because he is a french national he can live/work here

Machan Zimbabwe situation is totally different one compared to sri lanken situation.Its the fascism which is rising ,breaking the democracy.So no comparison between Sl and Zimbabwe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!for me

no matter wat people say SRI LANKA is the best place to live
coz i lived there for 14 yrs n now i m livin in the states....i really feel the diffrence.....even though here v hav every thing nad lotz of opportunities.......it really dsnt feel right.....only place u can b happy is the place where u born....no matter wat ppl say SL is the BEST PLACE TO LIVE in the world..

I think comparing with other countries ..... the best place to Live & best place to die is in Srilanka.....

I don't know about economic issues... but comparing to other countries it's not that much bad.

People...try to go abroad, thinking that Srilanka is not a good place to live ... from my opinion ...they do n no the value of their mother land...
I know ...some of my friends went abroad..for jobs....wht r they doing there???
they wash toilets...wrking in Gas stations....
wht da hell....y we shld do foreigners dirty works...

i think we shld return da bst we got 2 our mother land...coz she raises us,she feeds us...
