Answer for above few questions

Politicians can develop or demolish countries. No doubt about it.

we can ask ...

what is the biggest country in the world? this is another geographical question
what is the most populated country? This can be a question related to social studies, health, transport etc
what is most beautiful country? this can be a environmental question
what is the most developed country? this can be a economical or geographical question

we are in Asia, where we stand compare to other Asian countries? where we stand with other countries in the world?

Politics is kind a administration/controlling power. Politicans come and go. As a country we need a national policy. When another political party come to the power, they wants to start something new. Don't want to continue what previous goverment started.

We are still using railways which developed by britsih. One of Govt, planned Mahaweli Project to finish in 25 years (one by one), by President Jayawardena decided to put it in a Fast Track and finished it within about 5 years.

Past Govt. started Highway project from Colombo to Katunayake Airport. They have allocated some money and before it start most of allocations vanished. This is kind a politics.

Don't get messed up with the concept of Politics - Politicians - Poltical Parties - Government, Geography, Economy etc

Not entirely true! Need Correction!

Political Geography is one thing and Geography is another thing!

The world is divided politically, political deviations makes countries! That's political geography!

True Geographical deviations has nothing to do with political geographical deviations!

Example.

"There are 190+ countries all around the world" this statement refers to the political geography of the world

"What's the highest mountain?" now that's a true geographical question.. not related to political geography!

So there's a difference between the two geographies!! I think you should watch more National Geographic Channel

As for what is the most beautiful country! well.. its not a environmental question either.. its a matter of personal opinion! because "beauty... is in the eye of the be holder!!"

Environmental issues can be measured... beauty cannot be measured and its a very relative term!!

This is another misconception of lot of Sri Lankans!

Well.. YES! British developed Railways, but not all of them, later we expended as well.. and British developed them not because they love us.. but to suck out all the resources from our country... looting us!

If they stopped build railways to suck out all our resources, we'd still be having them to spend for our country!! And if British didn't come here non of this would've happened at all!!!

Very surprising to see people forget past and question the present!
