y wont u log in through wap? :)
i usually do. but it cost me a fortune when i logged onto my phone after the Kasun Show. so coming to a cafe gives me an hour or two of peace and quiet!

Some of the family

Things are going well here still.. but i've still not hit the beach. I'm hoping to head down to Galkissa beach soon for a day or two. Plans are made that we will be going to Sri Pada on the 20th of December- my first visit so Amma informs me that i will have to do certain things- such as offering dansala (?) to people returning down as we are going up. Also i have to do something with some thread as i am going up?

We had Kiri Dana for Radhika in Bingiriya this week. Sanjee was ill so i had to wash the feet of the Kiri Amma's and offer the food etc. I have the photos on my N95 so i will transfer them to this phone (sanjee's N73) then upload them here ( very interesting pix!). I have put one photo.. this is a lot of Sanjee's family in Bingiriya- I'm the white dude at the back!

    Wow! Traditions still alive... nice work bro, thanks for sharing.. hope everybody is doing fine :)

    It was the first time i'd heard of the ceremony but it was great. I was very happy to be involved. Sanjee was ill because after being in England for a year she wasn't used to the Sinhalese food!! :baffled: she had some prawns that gave her a bit of food poisoning.

    EK brothers and sisters!! Da Punk has touched down in your beautiful country!! I arrived last saturday and have only been able to log onto EK once since..

    Anyway.. Sunday night i went to the Kasun Show at the BMICH! Bloody amazing! i have been to hundreds of gigs in England of all genres- Metal and Punk mainly so this show was totally different to any i'd been before. the seating arrangements were a little strange- to me it seemed like a political event?:baffled:
    The show itself rocked! I love Kasun as many of you will know and Kithsiri Jayasekera's Cinderella is my favourite song of all time. I had a great time, even though i went alone as my wife wanted to stay home with the baby and i also could not contact any of my friends to catch up with them. Twice during the evening i heard "Englishpunk" i looked around to see who had called but did not know?? If you see me while i'm in Sri Lanka don't be shy.. say hello!!

    i'll keep popping onto this thread to add some photos and just to tell what i've been doing.. keep looking!!

    Welcome to Srilanka...:lol::lol:

    it's Hot in Srilanka noe...:baffled: :rofl: :D:D

    anyway...wish u all the best for ur Vacation...:D
