We've been quoted 25 to 30,000 Rs for a van to take us to Kandy & Anuradapura in one day. If we can get a more reasonable deal. We'll be going there too.

Dudes.. we did Sri Pada yesterday! God am i aching today! my legs and back are really hurting but it was a fantastic trip, i really enjoyed the whole time.

It was the first time i'd heard of the ceremony but it was great. I was very happy to be involved. Sanjee was ill because after being in England for a year she wasn't used to the Sinhalese food!! she had some prawns that gave her a bit of food poisoning.

You know what's weird...I went to Sri lanka two years ago and also had food poisoning from prawns....it was horrible..had a fever and vomited so many times

I'm the same.. I got ill from prawns in sri lanka last february.

Yesterday we went to UK beach in Wattala. Radhika had her first experience of being in the sea.. she loved it! She was in there for over an hour!
