yeah.. It'd kill me leaving the little one behind.
And as for the uk regs for sri lankans.. The uk has got a totally screwed up immigration system. They'll let absolutely anybody into the uk if they are in the european union- otherwise they make it hard for any qualified people from countries outside europe.

Well at least for the legally married non-UK spouses, these laws must be relaxed a bit.. you being a British and if you can support your wife and kid.. then what the HECK?:oo:

For 5 years i have been going to Galkissa beach.. this was the first time i'd seen them fishing on the beach, it was a great sight to see the nets being cast then everyone on the beach helping out dragging the nets back in.

I'm going home on sunday! :( on my own!! :( :( The British government have said that they can't put Sanjee any further up the queue for her visa so she can't leave with me. We applied on the 2nd of December and apparently the visa office are still dealing with applications from the middle of November. So it's looking like being another couple of weeks at least before sanjee and radhika can join me again in England! :( I'm devastated, but i have to come home to work, or else i won't have a job.

hmm... I feared much.. anyway if its less than a month before they can get visas then it should be OK!!

Everybody go through these kind of situations.. guess now its your turn, you've gotta get back to work for their sake!!

Hope everything works well for you bro! Take Care and have a safe journey!

I know that!! as i have said before.. the british govt will let anyone in if they are in the european union regardless of qualifications. Once in the country they are entitled to all the benefits that english taxpayers are entitled to. If, for instance, they are from Poland and they have children in poland, then they can claim child benefit for their children who are not even in Britain!!
