I was merely asking you which problem do you think this website solves that a simple list in a note pad cannot ?
If you look at Keells, Cargills and other shopping sites. Their item names doesn't follow any standard. Here you can built a shopping list using several online shopping sites and then use those names to order items.. if they are 'out of stock' in one site. Also personally, I don't think a text saved in a notepad is visually appealing as well.
Another benifit will be if you order the items online and after few days if you decide to go to Keells or any other super market. You can simply go to the website and upload the same downloaded file and generate the list and start doing the shopping.
I am currently using it and it serves me well. Just shared it here, hoping it will help more people.
