Lich said:the wire should be cross cable RJ45. and first install the modem to one pc and in the pc there should have lan port and in the other pc as well. then u install the network and (Win XP) go to control panel and network setup wizard and create a network. and that should done in both computers... and i prefer if u put one ip (Ex ; 192.168.1.1 then the other pc have its good if u can put 192.168.1.2) and end of the network wizard put sharing on
