because many probs can occour..
so pls dont start OCP for that girl...
sure it will effect the menstrual system.

mithuri is NOT to be used before intercourse. it has to be used over a period of time.
girl can not take a mithuri pill in and have sex later on and assume everything is fine.
it does not work like that.

This is the thing sis.....
the problem is wit the hymen...
the copper device should place inside the uterus..
so somebody wants to place that he has to pass the hymen.. so no other method to place the copper device..
so it has to break and place...
thats why said if women wants to put it in to the uterus she should at least have one child other wise they dont...
but after the intercourse the hymen isnt there so no need to worry put the copper device..

it should go not only through the hymen but also through the cervix!
by having sex you break the hymen, but it doesnt alter the dimentions of the cervix!

when a woman has given birth to a child it is easy to insert it through the cervix! and they have a bigger uterus to accomadate it!
nulliparous and virginity are not synonumous!

I dunno about the hormonal system but what I do know is that mithuri didnt effect my wife's periods in any way.

they are not used by elderly
OCP is the contraceptive recommended to delay the first child for newly married couples!can be used even if unmarried!

they do not cause menstrual irregularities
in fact thy are used to rugularize the cycles of women with irregular cycles!!!
they can be taken with antibiotics!!
problem is certain antibiotics can increase the metabolsim of OCP and the effect is lost!!!
so in such situations got to use second method like condom! or use a pill with higher strength!!!

but expulsion is common!! and failure rates are high since they have small uterus!!!!
