Im not sure abt this machan. Maybe the community forum might turn to a whole rep earning forum. Also how reasonable is it on the seniors who got max number of reps is still a question. & for people who do not care at all abt the + or - reps is another question..

In simple this is something like you get rep for what you do, you don't have to earn it or ask and go for it. Do what you can for the community and the system will take care about the rep points and ranks.
